Enten: "Trump is breaking records. Yesterday the Marquette Law School poll came out -- Trump's worst net approval rating on inflation. Minus 61! That's the worst Trump has ever polled on inflation, & not only that, it's the worst any president EVER has polled on inflation. Worse than Jimmy Carter!"

If American democracy fails, everything people here care about - Gaza, climate change, spelling reform, whatever - gets worse. (Just ask the people now dying in Africa.) So prioritize your voting as if you're a reasoning, capable adult, and not a single-issue child holding your breath.

The editorial cartoonist's pen is one of the sharpest tools in journalism, whittling issues down to basics for satire or rage. I'm proud to say that my long-ago colleague, Milt Priggee, is unafraid to shock with a tough point of view.

To explain: At the start of his opinion, Judge Young includes an anonymous note received by his chambers, which reads “Trump has pardons and tanks..what do you have?” Responding to the note, Young says we have our “magnificent Constitution” and “here’s how that works out in a specific case —“

Watched “The Long Walk” today. I read the book in the late 80’s and it and “The Running Man” always stuck in my mind. As far as I could recall, the director was true to the book right until the end, which I immediately realized was changed. It’s not bad, just different, but when I looked up….

…the thinking behind the change, it struck me that the adaptation was to the modern audience which seems to prefer less ambiguous outcomes. I thought the original outcome was more haunting and thoughtful.

this court says that allowing EPA to regulate carbon emissions is a "major question" that demands congressional debate. but allowing the president to, with a flick of the wrist, end a straightforward constitutional right is something that must be allowed to stand?

You are up to date.
