Retired postal worker. Not sure if I'm a right-leaning liberal or a left-leaning conservative, but I vote blue because I'm pro-union, anti-trickledown economics. If you're not pro-union, you're not pro-worker.

Blaming Alex Pretti's death on himself because he had a gun is like blaming a woman for her own rape because she was wearing a short skirt.

So, Trump just started a war with Venezuela. Russia and China are mad. Trump's solution will be to let Russia have Ukraine and let China have Taiwan. Problem solved. Tyranny for all.

Senator Mullin basically called Dr. Monarez a liar, claiming there was a recording of her conversation with Robert Kennedy, where he claims she said she was untrustworthy. Turns out the Senator was lying about the recording. Claimed he was mistaken.

Bull shit! He lied and he knew it was a lie. If it's against the law for people to lie to Congress, shouldn't it also be against the law for Congress members to lie in an official proceeding?

Have you seen Mike Johnson's press conference today? If I were a reporter, I'd ask him how he can call himself a Christian and then stand there and tell so many lies.

Not happy with the "Notifications" section of Bluesky. All it shows is the response from another user but it does not show you what they are responding to. If I post 2 things and someone comments on one of them, how do I know what they are commenting on? Is there a setting I'm missing?

Why is the so-called liberal media stroking Trump's ego? Colombia threatened to retaliate with their own tariffs. Colombia's refusal was based on people being treated with dignity and have stuck to that condition. If Trump agreed to that, then who backed down? abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...

Trump is creating a DOGE team to oversee every major g'ment agency. He can call them special g'ment employees all he wants, but the bottom line is that a private agency will have control over the entire g'ment. Elon Musk is now the most powerful person in America. www.govexec.com/management/2...

Just heard a news report about how the left is more likely to end relationships with family & friends over politics. What these idiots don't understand is that it's not politics. It's the hatred & racist rhetoric. You can't debate politics with someone who refuses the acknowledge the truth.

Privatization is a bad idea. You'll lose universal service. You'll be okay if you live in a large city. But if you live in a rural area and/or the USPS delivers your UPS packages you fall into that "unprofitable to deliver to" area & will pay more for home delivery. www.forbes.com/sites/alison...
