Let's remember some guys on "Emergency!" 1/ -- Dick Butkus, the first "Emergency!" sports cameo, in the same episode as a cameo by Nick Nolte. -- Joe Kapp, as a man trapped in his sauna -- Larry Csonka, as a construction worker who becomes crazed from paint fumes, nearly kills Chet.

2/ -- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, years before "Airplane!" plays a basketball player trapped in his car, rescued out the sunroof. -- Mark Spitz, in a really weird cameo as a catatonically distraught husband after accidentally shooting his pregnant wife.
