Now more than ever is the time to support all these great sites (and more) that are making independent games media such a vibrant and vital space. 👊

This week I’m at the NetEase office in Hangzhou, China. This is the cafeteria at lunchtime. (And this is just PART of the room.)

So y’all were right about Balatro! Maybe I should listen to game critics after all! But I still can’t stop playing Monster Train.

They sure drink a lot of beer in Germany. Or I guess I should rephrase that. I sure drink a lot of beer in Germany. I need to drink less beer when I get back home.

Had a very productive Diablo 4 weekend. Grabbed every Altar of Lilith, cleared some nightmare dungeons, futzed around with my Paragon board. Bring on Season 1!

I know this is petty and probably technically impossible, but I wish Town Portals in Diablo 4 would stay active even after you log out. I have a huge shlep ahead of me. (Loving the game tho!)

Finished Silo last night and it was great but now there’s a big sci-fi hole in my life. How’s Invasion? Worth it?

I’ve been slowly teaching myself Chinese on Duolingo, and in the 9 months since I started I can now proudly report that I am proficient at saying “I eat rice” and “mama.”

I’ve posted more here this morning than in the last six months or so on Twitter. I like it here! But now I’m about to drive for 400 miles so I’ll see y’all later.

No one liked the AI photo, so I’m trying grizzled old bearded man photo. Whaddya think?

I don’t have invite codes yet cuz I’m still a Bluesky infant. When I get ‘em I’ll supply you beggars!

So now what?
