Jeremy Peterman𓅪

My preview of tomorrow's match. #RCTID

One of the most talented skill position groups I've ever seen at 1JD but a god-awful defense and horrendous coaching ruins everything. A franchise whose sole purpose for existence is to piss off their fans.

Today at noon, all of Portland will be holding their breath: will Diego Chara be opening a Toyota dealership or a Ford dealership? #RCTID

Since Izoita is getting attention from national pundits, I thought I’d highlight Jeremy’s analysis from last nights game as well. #RCTID

"I think there are some lads in there with some bright futures." -Jack Cassidy #RCTID

"We were hard-working, but lacked quality. When you're missing 3 key starters from any team at any level, it's really hard." -Jack Cassidy #RCTID

A couple of late chances fall by the wayside, and T2's season ends with a 1-0 home loss to Ventura County in the Western Conference Semifinals. Rough way to end such an overwhelmingly positive season. #RCTID

Finally, in the 84th minute, Ventura County get their breakthrough. Substitute Arnau Vilamitjana gets on the end of a cross for a free header at the back post. 1-0 VCFC. T2 heading for a playoff exit. #RCTID

Halftime thoughts from the pressbox: -Santos plays like a crash-test dummy. Wildly entertaining player. -Need to get their foot on the ball more, having trouble taking it off of Ventura and having trouble keeping possession. #RCTID

I could watch T2 defend in a mid-block for hours. Every single move is coordinated. They all turn and shift at the exact same time. Really well drilled and disciplined. #RCTID

Gametime. A Western Conference Final berth is at stake. #RCTID

The starting lineup for the visitors. #RCTID

Kissel starts for the second game in a row, with Santos and Vanvoorhis joining the XI after beginning the STL2 game on the bench. Top scorer Daniel Cervantes is back from suspension, and he'll be available off the bench. #RCTID

Pathetic franchise run by pathetic people whose sole purpose every week is to piss off everyone who still believes that they'll be good one day. They do not deserve this level of loyalty. #Jets

Rooting for the tank before Halloween again. Fire them all. #Jets

Cooper dominating is awesome, but it's absolutely infuriating to see Wilson ignored again. Eventually he'll get fed up. And there will only be a few people to blame. #Jets

Yeah, no exceptions, get rid of the entire staff. Entirely unprofessional franchise. Woody needs to give the keys to ANYONE and fly off into the sunset. #Jets

Ignoring the obvious roughing while picking up the defensive holding flag, the refs do not need to do this at all, it's entirely their choice to be this bad on purpose #Jets

It's like they cook up a game plan to piss off the fanbase every week. How else do you explain it? Just embarrassment after embarrassment. #Jets

Ok he might have to go, the lack of preparation is staggering #Jets

Ditto the "weather has turned" aspect. Never been so happy to wake up to rain.

The Timbers continue to leave plenty of gaps in the midfield that good teams could take advantage of. A defined, organized, and compact out-of-possession structure is still a serious need in order for the competitive floor to be raised. #RCTID

At the beginning of the season, I wanted to see if any correlation could be established between box touches for and box touches against. Last night, it all clicked. Box Tilt is the Domination Index. #RCTID

My recap of yesterday's win. #RCTID

"I'd say that a lot of the guys have helped me be more mature. I watch what they do sometimes and they help the transition be easier." -Eric Izoita on the move between T2 and the first team #RCTID

"We needed that win so badly and we just went to celebrate with him." -Eric Izoita on Alexander Aravena's late winner #RCTID

"I was just trying to set the tone and get an early challenge in. I overcooked it a bit." -Eric Izoita on his yellow card #RCTID

"With everything that has gone up and down this year, we deserved this." -Ariel Lassiter #RCTID

"I was thinking about it. There were one or two opportunities that I could've done better with. -Ariel Lassiter on a potential hat trick #RCTID

"If I was 19 years old and getting first team minutes, I'd have all the confidence too." -Ariel Lassiter on Eric Izoita #RCTID

"It has not been an easy process to come into a new country and a new home. The support we've had from the beginning has been crazy." -Marti Cifuentes #RCTID

"I think that Jose has a really high ceiling, but sometimes he starts a bit slow. After the goal, he and the whole team responded really well." -Marti Cifuentes on Jose Caicedo #RCTID

"When you start at a new club, the main thing is building a culture. I speak with the guys a lot about having a clear identity." -Marti Cifuentes #RCTID

"He's growing every training and he's growing in confidence." -Marti Cifuentes on Eric Izoita #RCTID

"We needed to keep believing, and we did. And we got the win that the team needed and deserved." -Marti Cifuentes #RCTID

"Finally. Finally. I'm very happy for the players and for the fans as well. I think it was a very deserved win." -Marti Cifuentes #RCTID

TETRIS AWAY! #RCTID

GAME-WINNER WITH THE LAST KICK OF THE GAME. KEEPING PACE IN THE PLAYOFF RACE. WINLESS STREAK SNAPPED. 3 POINTS TO THE TREES. #RCTID

SMITH'S CORNER IS FLICKED BY BASSETT TO THE BACK POST AND PUT IN BY ARAVENA WITH THE LAST KICK OF THE GAME IT'S 3-2 TO THE TIMBERS IN THE 6TH MINUTE OF SECOND HALF STOPPAGE TIME AND THEIR SEASON IS STILL ALIVEEEEEEE #RCTID
