What a day 🤯 This morning suddenly Prisma couldn't find my env vars anymore, nothing would fix it. Eventually got it fixed by upgrading Prisma. That was a major upgrade though, having some breaking changes. Now that's fixed Turbo is running out of memory during build 😭

Just updated the playgrounds' console to also show logs, instead of only errors. What was I thinking when first building this, showing only errors. Of course you need all these 'here' 'here' 'here' logs 😉 What else would you like to see added?

🔥 Wrapping up the latest Motion course module, and I just couldn't wait to share this! We’re diving deep into the animate() function to build advanced, multi-element animations. This example? Just the beginning of what you'll create! Can't wait to see how you'll use this!

On top of that, if you’re vibe coding you are really letting LLMs do all the fun parts, and even do a mediocre job at it. Then you are the one who has to pull it over the finish line — which is the least fun part, especially if you don’t know how to code, and LLM produced garbage

The old account page? Definitely an MVP — and it's been bugging me ever since. With more courses and recipes on the way, it’s time for a real dashboard at Frontend FYI. Oh — and those credits? Soon you’ll be able to unlock content without PRO 👀

Last weekend YouTube suggested this great video by Kevin Leneway Happened to play with MCP last week too, his setup was therefore extra intriguing. Definitely watch this video and others on his channel! My experience in the next post. youtu.be/gXmakVsIbF0

youtube.comYou HAVE to Try Cursor + o3 + StorybookLast Sunday evening in Japan, OpenAI quietly unveiled their new deep research product powered by the previously unreleased O3 model. In this video, I show yo...

Played with it a bit more today. I noticed that for more complex tasks (or not building from scratch), it struggles more. It is hard to guide it exactly in the right direction, especially if you already have an approach in mind. Often it chooses for a more involved approach.

I'm super curious though what DeepResearch would add to this on top of regular GPTs. I can imagine longer thinking is beneficial. Finding the Agent Composer over the regular chat was a eye opener for me though. Why didn't I know about this before? 🤯

I love to get comments like these🔥 They are what keep me going! I KNOW my content is awesome, yet it's also so hard to make (enough) money out of content creation as a small creator, as I try to explain to Samir in my comment. Would love to hear you thoughts about this too 🥰

The specific video this comment was about, was my AppleTV+ page rebuild. It's definitely these real world rebuilds that I enjoy making the most, yet do too little of because they take so much time to create. Check it out here: youtu.be/TmelPbKsFWo...

youtube.comCode With Me: Apple TV+ Page with Framer Motion And TailwindCSSIn today's video we'll be recreating this Apple TV+ page with Tailwind and Framer Motion. We'll start from zero and add components step by step, until we and...

Just gave my PRO page a much-needed update! 🚀 I realized it never fully captured my vision — PRO isn’t just a single course, it’s a growing resource packed with value. This update finally shows that. Check it out, and if you’re on the fence, now’s the time to join PRO! 🔥

Moments like these make me really surprised by today's capabilities of AI. Its able to take a very basic instruction and ugly code from a screenshot (!!), and turn it into something that works perfectly🤯 Sure it's not a 1-1 representation, but that also wasn't what I asked for

Version two. Muuuuch more professional 😏 Only need to create a logo which I can add onto the coffee bag as well.

First steps towards experimenting with a different type of content😏 Making frontend content is such a serious business. This is gonna be fun on a different level Not sure when I'll be able to create a first video. This was just a fun first experiment. Have a great weekend!

Alright, gonna press the button 🤞 Quite the journey.. Still not entirely sure I didn't miss anything, but this needs to be done now. Took me far more time than I hoped. Let me know if you spot anything that looks off please. Playgrounds are still on V3 for now.

Using Tailwind V4 with Astro? Be aware that if you have any unique classes inside a `client:only` component, these won't get bundled into your CSS file. Thus you might end up with some broken styles. The team is aware and working hard on getting a fix for this asap ❤️

Considering my life choices for choosing Tailwind for my Motion course: Dilemma: Should I update my playgrounds to V4, meaning I need to prompt for all these breaking changes in old save states of users – or should exercises stay on V3 (bad idea too) Plus videos show V3 too!😫

Tailwind V4 MIGHT break (Framer) Motion animations 🚨 V4 uses individual transform properties. Meaning if you set a initial state on a transform via a Tailwind class, TW uses `translate`, and Motion uses `transform`. Ending up in having the translation applied twice! 🤯👇

Today I learned that CSS Individual Transform Properties actually get ADDED UP with regular `transform` 🤯 Causing my upgrade to TailwindV4 to break many of my Motion animations. I'm still not sure if this is intended or not.. Watch the video here: youtu.be/tdip011nNGk
