In 🇨🇦 it's Universal Healthcare and Daycare, paid maternity leave for both parents . Child tax credits and allowances and just recently free dental care for minors and seniors and in Trump's America it's...

Isn't this always connected, SaaS subscription based world fun? It's time to evaluate our reliance on online services for tasks that do not inherently require to be offline. #aws

With authoritarianism slowly taking over and the rise of AI edited videos, I feel like not enough people have watched Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Running Man.

Even the memorial service is a grift. But Kimmel pointing out that the blame game started before his body hit the floor is somehow disrespectful to his memory.

Kirk gets killed causes an uproar. Meanwhile a school gets shot up, ICE agents kill a man over alleged traffic violations, Hegseth murders 11 people on a boat, and it's a footnote. America is fucked. And it's taking the world down with it.

JD’s mom was not getting drugs from cartels, she was a nurse who was stealing painkillers from her patients. Her patients suffered and she got high. As a medical professional, I will tell you the lowest life form is someone who steals drugs from their patients. Zero sympathy for JD or his mom.

Red Sonja was a blast, harkens back to the S&S films of the 80s. Robert Sheehan is always a joy, and really chews up the villain role. Matilda Lutz is as great as she was in Revenge. Check it out, we need more of these movies.

So I decided to check Kpop Demon Hunters and it actually slaps. Sony Animation clearly know their craft and use the medium to its fullest extent. Like Spider-Verse they don't aim for realism, but instead create the vibe. The facial expressions, the total neglect of physical space on some scènes,

the use of color with an absolute disregard for how light works, everything to bring the mood of a scene and I am absolutely here for it. The songs are catchy as fuck, the voice acting is top notch, the demon designs is cool as hell and I like the characterization of all the singers.

Eyes of Wakanda has left me wondering why we don't have a stealth action game where we play a War Dog in some historical backdrop trying to retrieve Wakandan artefacts while remaining unseen.

Fantastic Four First Steps was, IMHO, pretty good. It's one of the high notes in the MCU and the third one where the conflict is resolved through other means than just punch at the problem until it's no longer a problem.

Pretty creative solution to the "we have 20 years of Avengers, how will we explain this family existing." but also the "we need them ready to face the next Avengers film and they can't do that if they're just starting" problems.

Pretty fucking sus. ☕

NEW ANGLE Watch and decide, but I was never fully convinced he was shot in the first place. Never mind that his ear should’ve been blown off—now completely healed. Or that the Secret Service took their time getting him offstage. But from this angle: you see the photographers guided into place…

James Gunn understands Superman, Luthor, and most importantly, storytelling. This movie takes you by the hand and never lets go until the very end. It's gripping, touching and moving all at once. If this future of the DC movies is this colorful, hopeful and emotional palette, I'm here for it.

Tears in Cages Who will be put in these cages? The pizza man from New Jersey? The old woman tending her garden? The ice cream man ripped away from his cart? Janitors, nannies, groundskeepers, farm workers…all taken away from their homes. How many tears will be shed in metal cages?

Douwe Bob cancels a performance because of Zionist propaganda at the venue. Glastonbury protests against the genocide. Politicians: "this is clearly antisemitism." Get absolutely and unequivocally fucked.
