Thank you, West Vancouver-Sea to Sky. It’s an honour that you’ve trusted me to represent you in Victoria. This is a responsibility and a privilege that I don’t take lightly. 1/

I want to congratulate Emily. Since becoming leader she has inspired so many British Columbians who were feeling apathetic towards politics. The movement is building and there’s no better person to lead us. Emily, I am excited to get to work with you in Victoria. 3/

There are so many people to thank—my family, my campaign team, the volunteers, my constituents and constituency office. Thank you for believing in me. This election you chose to believe in better. It’s time to get back to work for you. 4/

I know some of us are shocked about the result. But rest assured, Emily, myself, and the BC Greens plan on doing what we always do: give a voice to the voiceless and deliver for B.C. 2/

The election in West Vancouver - Sea to Sky will again be very close. So make sure you go out and cast your Green vote for Jeremy Valeriote, who has been a committed and hard working MLA for our riding. Every vote counts. #WestVancouver #SeaToSky #BCElections

Voters in West Vancouver–Sea to Sky have and can vote for their values and the change they want to see. They can re-elect a Green MLA who will hold the government accountable and put the people of this riding first. 3/

David Eby is telling Greens to vote NDP to stop a Conservative government. He is intentionally confusing voters. The people of West Van-Sea to Sky have already shown they don’t need to choose between Conservative or NDP: they can re-elect a Green. 1/

In 2024, the Greens beat the Conservatives—the NDP finished a distant third. This election, the NDP has had little, if any, campaign signs visible across the riding. And its candidate skipped one of two all-candidates meetings. 2/

I am admittedly biased, but @jervaler.bsky.social is a wonderful candidate, proven to work across party lines and has been a great friend for much of my life. Vote Valeriote!

Under Emily Lowan’s leadership, the BC Greens have undergone a radical brand refresh and the party has worked to engage a young audience. Will these efforts pay off at the voting booth? Hugh Chan writes. #BCPoli thetyee.ca/News/2026/10...

The problem isn’t that Premier Eby benefits from $10-a-day childcare. It’s that so many B.C. families can’t—and the NDP promised they would. The BC Greens are the only party pledging to make $10/day daycare a reality. #bcpol #votegreen globalnews.ca/video/121000...

An overlapping provincial election 2 years early! I wanted to let you all know that I’m running for re-election. Out of respect for the dozens of West Van-Sea to Sky local government candidates and volunteers I’ll be taking a lighter touch on signs this time. Believe in Better!!! #votegreen #bcpoli

Today I announced that I won't be running again in Saanich North and the Islands. To the communities I have had the privilege of serving, thank you. I'm proud of the work we accomplished together and know it will continue -- because of you, and because @emilylowan.bsky.social is your new candidate.

Recapping my week at #UBCM2026! From meetings with municipal leaders & ministers, to transit announcements with Federal and First Nations leaders, it was a great week working to improve lives for people in West Vancouver-Sea to Sky. #bcpoli #seatosky

If the new Framework is implemented on Jan.1, British Columbians will lose out on nearly $3 billion that could be spent on social services we desperately need. #bcpoli

For $3 billion we could restore all of the funding that the BC NDP cut from the Community Housing Fund in 2026, and still have $1.5 billion left for healthcare, transit, education, and affordability measures. #bcpoli

Since CN Rail announced it would end its lease on the former BC Rail corridor between Squamish and 100 Mile House in July 2025, we’ve seen a growing movement to save the line and provide long term freight and passenger rail. #bcpoli #passengerrail

Today’s meeting represents cross-partisan support for a viable, publicly owned rail line moving passengers and freight from Vancouver to Prince George. While we applaud the Province’s commitment to keep the rail corridor in public ownership, more must be done. #bcpoli

The Sea-to-Sky is rapidly growing and in desperate need of regional transit – to improve highway safety, reduce congestion, make life more affordable, and combat climate change. The Province made a promise to passengers in this region, it’s time they delivered.

I’m deeply saddened to hear the news of Joan Phillip’s passing. Joan showed this province what it means to be kind, resilient, principled and graceful. My deepest condolences to Joan’s family, loved ones, and community during this incredibly difficult time.

We're still learning the details about changes to supports for children and youth with support needs, including those diagnosed with autism. MCFD has now provided a response to the questions I raised in July, and I believe it’s important to share that information with you. #bcpoli

We understand Minister Bailey is moving to the Jobs and Economic Growth file, but Minister for Climate Solutions Adrian Dix will temporarily oversee the ministry’s responsibilities. This is a huge opportunity, as building a sustainable economy and tackling the climate crisis must go hand-in-hand.

Today’s cabinet shuffle comes at a challenging time for British Columbia. Health care remains one of the most pressing issues facing people across the province, which is why the BC Greens question the decision to move leadership out of the Health Ministry at this critical moment. #bcpoli

These are times of unimaginable tragedy. I am sending my thoughts to the family of the woman who lost her life. To the evacuees, I wish you safety and a quick return. I thank the brave firefighters and first responders working to keep British Columbians safe in these horrific conditions.

cbc.ca80-year-old woman killed in Summerland, B.C., wildfire: RCMP | CBC NewsRCMP have confirmed a fatality in the explosive wildfire that forced mass evacuations from Summerland, B.C., over the weekend.

Thanks to Premier Eby and Minister Greene for acknowledging this for the emergency that it is. We cannot accept wildfire seasons as ‘normal’ and must act with urgency to address the immediate threats and long term consequences of climate change. #bcpoli

We've declared a provincewide State of Provincial Emergency as the new, fast-moving Bald Range wildfire forces thousands of people from their homes in the Summerland area.   At every step, we're focused on ensuring that emergency crews have the tools they need to protect people and communities.
