Normalizing brain rot Yes, they’re gonna do that, but the newsworthy bit is that the whole thing is utter bullshit

I just need to put this out there since I don’t know anyone else who is watching, but I just finished season 3 of Foundation on AppleTV and it gave me whiplash in the best way. Also season 4 is out tomorrow, right?

I really wish there was grieving leave for pets, I’d settle for a day or even a half day, just for jobs to recognize losing a pet is just as hard as a person

I have been very remiss in updating here, but sadly, we had to say goodbye to Bruno tonight. The vets think he had a stroke which caused his bladder sphincter to basically get stuck. It’s never an easy decision to make but it was the best one in this situation.

Bruno is home and has calmed down and acting much more like himself after being in the hospital, but still no pee :( so we are probably going to have to take him back

Update: Bruno is home but not out of the woods yet, since he still can’t pee. They think he may be having stress issues and are hoping that being somewhere familiar will help. They were worried he wasn’t eating in the hospital but he’s been chowing down since he got home, so that’s good.

Poor Bruno is still at the hospital and they had to put the catheter back in because he can’t pee on his own yet. Seems he has a stubborn infection. Thankfully we were able to give him a visit with lots of cuddles and pets.

Update on Bruno: still at the vets, they said he’s stable and eating a little, but he still has his catheter in, so once that is out, it will be 12-24 hours before he can come home.

One of our poor babies had to go to the emergency vet yesterday for a urinary blockage. Thankfully, he’s okay and they were able to get him cleared up, but it’s a huge expense. Any help is appreciated to help lighten the financial burden. gofund.me/18214146

Why go to therapy when enacting a government coup to deal with your feelings of inadequacy is so much cheap- oh wait therapy doesn’t cost millions of dollars to pay people off to vote your way??

Comfortably Boo@numb.comfortab.ly

TFW you're cosplaying a pimp Terminator.

Me, a person with ADHD and severe procrastination problems who also works full time still manages to turn my assignments for college in on time (sometimes by the skin of my teeth) but my professor has to make a blanket announcement that assignments that are more than 8 days late don’t get credit? /1

I am assuming at least some of my classmates are neurotypical and otherwise typical college students (ie only going to college, no job or family). I know some of them are ‘adult learners’ aka have jobs and family but they also seem to be the ones who do things on time or early/2

So what is going on? Do the American youtz just no longer care/have no concepts of deadlines or am I missing out on being ‘cool’ by just not doing my work? Does my ADHD instilling me with crushing anxiety over being a failure while also preventing me from completing tasks work in my favor? (Probs)

These scam calls from people pretending they’re the IRS - we already know all the govt workers have been laid off, like we’re going to believe there’s any employees left to actually call us. 🙄

I keep seeing people say things like ‘the post office has to deliver mail to everyone’s house’ and I regret to inform you that is actually not true. I work for a mail order pharmacy and regularly encounter people, especially in small towns or rural areas, where usps does not deliver to their house.

This means they often don’t have access to reliable transportation and can’t afford to pay extra for delivery or for other shipping methods like FedEx or UPS that will deliver to their house (except the one person I talked to where fedex just leaves their deliveries in the middle of a dirt road).

Considering many elderly/disabled people have mobility issues and can’t leave the house, so they rely on mail order pharmacies, the idea that they may also lose direct home delivery through USPS is very concerning, esp since many of them also experience economic hardship.

Instead, they are forced to have a PO Box. There are also many areas other than apartments where mail is delivered to one central collection of mail boxes, like trailer parks or some subdivisions. I fear that the push for defunding/privatizing USPS will only make this worse.

Ah yes because we know the real issues in Texas schools are kids using litter boxes and licking themselves 🙄😹😹😹😹
