GEAR UP is back! Come join us on Friday November 6th for the GLOW Party. Bring up your shiny gear, let’s celebrate. STRICT DRESSCODE ENFORCED. www.opalace.org/event-detail... #gearhead #gearheads #kinkparty #bdsmparty

I realize I never actually shared this finished print, after mentioning I sold one the other day. This was printed off of a stone, I cannot reprint them. I have a very limited amount available, if you would like one. 👀 #lithography #printmaking #queerart #print

I literally sold a print this way last week. Someone contacted me because their friend bought one from me at a show and they wondered where they could get it. Talk about us like you talk about the shows you’ve been watching, the books you’ve been reading. Share your excitement.

piggybacking off this: the most powerful sales technique in the world, for pretty much all of human history, has been word of mouth. If you like something someone made, TELL YOUR FRIENDS. Tell everyone. Leave reviews. Repost. Talk about it. Link to it and link to the artist. We depend on YOU.

Reminder for this! Come join our telegram chat, we’re a super friendly, kinky, Montreal area based, bilingual community 👹👹👹 we’re posting challenge for day 0 of #locktober tonight and the more folks be doing the challenges, the funner it will be! 🔥🔥🔥

Man, this post of a ss circulating about illustrations being mistaken for art is… oof. See, in general, people agree + comment that illustration is art. I agree with this wholeheartedly. What I don’t agree with is how the post has been spawning discussions about art that isn’t illustrations. —->

Hell, I can only do what I do because I’m not alone in my journey. Similarly to how artists used to have a patron. I know so many gallery artists and other kinds that are not illustrators. I don’t know one who’s rich or always having the next collab set up.

You might not understand what they make. You might not like what they make. But they deserve the same respect you give to those who make things you DO like. Don’t tear apart art in the comments. Tear apart what’s preventing us from indulging into the arts further. Refute the values of capitalism

There’s problems in general with how the arts are funded. There’s problems with art museums. I could stand here all day and deconstruct every problem with the arts world for hours. However, the common denominator is capitalism. Yes, it’s always capitalism. It always has been. ->

Locktober is coming up for Montreal kinksters.... 🥴🍆🔐 Need a partner, or tasks, join us. 😈

Dolly Parton’s passing is genuinely so upsetting. Everyone needs to go rest someday and today was Dolly’s day to go. I hope people remember the tolerance and love she spread around her, and that folks try to do the same in these trying times. ❤️🌈

I need to go to bed, but I also need to scream in the void about the Tim Hortons thing. And maybe it’s going to sound entitled. Maybe not. There were already a bunch of issues that made it a less than great place to eat and get coffee at. I’m gonna go and say a couple here. 1/6

Probably even more dissapointing is seeing people go and purchase these products or continue to go to Tim Hortons while the promotion is going on. And again. If you still supporting HP financially, what the fuck is wrong with you? Find another hobby. Another franchise. God. 5/6

Point being. It’s really hard being neurodivergent. It’s even harder when you take one of the safe foods away. I never thought I’d feel “hurt” by a food place. But here we are. If I can stop going to Tim’s, fuck, so can you. Please consider not going, telling folks around you to not. Tnx. 🏳️‍⚧️6/6

I continued to go because it was cheap, it agreed with my stomach and it felt like a safe food. It was something I’d lean on. Calling the Harry Potter thing bullshit is an understatement… and while no company is my friend… this still makes me incredibly upset. 3/6

1. They pay staff poorly. (I hope you’re not surprised.) 2. It’s not a Canadian company anymore, but they keep leaning on the patriotism aspect to make sales. 3. Over the decades I’ve eaten there, food quality has taken a nose dive. Despite all of this. I continued to go. 2/6

Sometimes, I really think things like “unpaid educational labour” are taken too fucking far. Like, no. I don’t think someone should pay me because I explained what micro aggressions are for me, a trans guy. When I don’t have the spoons to explain something, I just say so.

My performance of gender might be what many consider very “traditionally” masculine. I identify with a binary gender. I am a man. I love being a man. My masculinity is beautiful. Hating men/saying im one of the good ones isn’t the flex you think it is. My struggles differ, but I’m still queer.1/

It took me a long time to truly embrace and love being a man. To find masculinity beautiful. Let’s work together to stop saying men are gross. A rapist is gross. A mysoginist is gross. Yea, the person was likely a man—but them being a man isn’t what made them gross. 5/

Oh, and for the love of god, please stop infantilizing trans men. I’m not a soft boy. I’m not a diet boy. Don’t call me a T boy. Don’t call me a boy. (Some people might like those terms, that’s fine. This is about me.) My Dad gets that privilege. You don’t. I’m a man. /end

We need to fix how we talk about men. It’s not like the police where you can just say ACAB. The men aren’t the problem. The systems are. It’s possible to give men the space to be vulnerable, to work together to dismantle the systems of patriarchy in a way that’s fucking healthy. 3/

I’m not saying all men want to do this. But does anyone realize what harm you’re doing to your own community when you say “I hate men”, “Fuck men” when I’m right there in the fucking room? To go through and transition to something people around you hate. To be afraid to be masculine. 4/

I feel the need to say something. I feel rejected from cis gay spaces a lot of the time. Or perceived as less than. I’m a top without a “real” dick. In queer spaces, my gender isn’t “fucked” enough. I’m too close to *real* men. I used to use He/They. To fit in. I dropped it. 2/
