Being able to procrastinate on work with other work is dangerous. It feels like I can spend even more time working while getting even less done.

I think I've trained myself in a bad way. I was totally ready to go to bed until I got IN bed. Now I'm laying here writing new features for my website.

AI coding is still very touch-and-go for me right now, but Cursor is more than paying for itself in just writing storybook stories for all of the components that I'm writing.

“Yeah! And I’ll write the multiplayer server in Rust! It’ll be great” Game dev is hard enough, why would I do this to myself.

I goof’d somehow totally forgot that the joco cruise was a thing. Next year I guess~

Hey Booksky 📚💙 - Do you have any recommendations for incremental release of chapters? Things like Royal Road or Scribblehub?

Knowing I have to be an approaching-responsible adult the next day really takes the fun out of these all-night coding sessions. Watching the clock so that I can get that critical 1 hour & 30 minutes of sleep just spoils it all.

So one of the hardest parts of the social media thing for me is - what do i show? I’m primarily a programmer, so the things that i’d have to show that other people want to see are primarily my colleagues work. Any advice? #gamedev

Still not caught up on work but I can’t let go of this desire to build a new ATS. Boring, I know, but the job market sucks and it really doesn’t feel like it needs to be. People want to work, people want work to get done, that this disconnect exists is really weird to me.

Aight - so I’m Jesse: I make stuff, games, art, music - way too much software. All in service of hopefully maybe making the world a better / more connected / more interesting place. Not the most interested in social media but imma try eventually so in the spirit of that. #AddToBlackSky

Alright - I'm resolving to make some progress on all my personal-type (I guess also including companies I'm at) sites before the end of this month. What's that saying about the cobblers children?
