Do you ever hear Gen Z people using slang words in ordinary life? I heard one say "I was today years old when I learned...." It's strange that writers need to start incorporating meme speak into their writing, particularly because meme speak is just becoming speech. I don't hate it, honestly.

Chud is a beautiful slang word. Gen Z should be proud of this.

Do people outside the US understand how strongly many of us root against our own team? There has to be a name for this phenomenon. I mean besides "Fuck You, Donald."

Summer nights - what a great time to write.

Cape Fear is scary, and kind of trashy, and you can really taste it and smell it. It has this sort of super saturation. It reminds me of the Hannibal show, which was also fantastic.

For GTA6, The $80 price tag is reasonable, IMO. The no-disc issue is a bummer. It's sad that the most anticipated game of all time is lock-stepping with the you-own-nothing-and-you'll-like-it ethos. It isn't surprising. Games have been going that way for a long, long time. Just sad.
