I’m working with literary supports and a common talking point is that there’s just not any boys literature; however, if you walk into my classroom, you’ll find shelves of boys literature—and what’s heinous about this statement is it shows a complete lack of research into middle grade literature.

“Oh but boys don’t want to read girly stuff” and? I have the complete diary of wimpy kid and origami yoda series, marvel mangas, classic adventure series (Narnia and friends), George Lopez’s chupacabra series, several monster based (usually zombies) graphic novels, and Dave Pilkey

I’m so sick of parents. This generation hates their kids. Not like boomers, these parents pride themselves on severely neglecting their kids. They refuse to spend time with them, they refuse to parent. And then the state wants teachers to step up… yeah let me parent 175 kids, that’ll go great.

I have one girl who keeps instigating fights and her mom asked, why aren’t you protecting her. Okay so I tell you she walks into the room cursing everyone out, is racist towards my black students, and you’re mad because a student looked at her funny—oh because that’s her trigger? Fuck off.

I understand it’s not nearly as profitable to call attention to Trump’s steep cognitive decline as it was to mock Biden for having Parkinson’s—but clips he posts, unedited (unless you want to make the claim his team is attempting to make him look senile) by bias are fully incoherent.

This man has started a war, and is threatening more. He has a demented, insatiable bloodlust, that his war hawk yes men encourage with zero pushback, and those who do are clumsily smoted (sometimes hitting its mark, sometimes entirely taking the wrong person, sometimes a 100% swing and miss).

Boys have been utterly poisoned. The manosphere is so abundantly present at my site. Our male students are sexually harassing the girls, other boys, and now teachers—and nothings being done about it except for a light email explaining so and so didn’t know pretending to masturbate was inappropriate.

So many of the kids have little to zero experience imagining whatever it is they feel like. They have had streaming and YouTube to color their days. And again, I’m not some oldie whining about how the boobtube is rotting our youths’s minds, BUT they struggle to even imagine their dream day.

I wish people would stop buying their children phones, and iPad rearing needs to come to an end as a whole. I’m not some old asshole bragging about how I played in the trees and my parents never knew where I was—but this generational neglect has reduced students’ capacity for all things childlike.

The daily wires ads for their new slopfest just being “yep we had fun killing gay liberal characters” makes me want to talk about how Ben Shapiro is a failed screen writer. He’s punishing us for not wanting to watch his initial bullshit with his failing media companies b-movie cinematography.

It why when I see people cry about “woke” books—you’re books aren’t good enough to make it onto even the tiniest table at Barnes and Noble! You want there to be a “white cis het male” table? Then fucking write decently for a start! It’s all slop, a lot of it blatantly ai.

The daily wire and its subsidiaries are failing. He has multiple failing companies like his icon Donnie and is burning 2000s blockbuster money on movies that are shot, written, and produced horribly. It should be a crime to spend that much money on a movie that looks that bad.

I am so utterly fascinated with people and what they think a vegetarian food is. My mom suggested I try boiled chicken, a friend asked why don’t I just “ask the deli to cut Black Forest ham really slim”, another asked if I considered hot dogs (not veggie dogs) because “it’s not like they’re real”

Which is hilarious, nobody taught me how to use iPads and laptops, but I’m proficient—I’d imagine students to day already get enough sandbox time to learn ai in their off time. Why should an untrained person train them when I can do what I was taught and paid to do???
