Super interesting! 81,000 people told Anthropic their top realized AI benefit is productivity (32%). But what they ultimately want is personal transformation, time for family, financial independence. Productivity is the means. Worth thinking about what the end is. www.anthropic.com/features/81k...

While researching a new Lego set the other day, I stumbled across this nice overview of how the Lego logo has evolved over the years: https://buff.ly/2vhJdS2 Now if I can only find that Lego Crocodile train set for a reasonable price...
Wednesday Website Inspiration: https://earth.fm/ Whoa, I love the nature sounds and soundscapes. So soothing!

Missed this earlier, but I love this great overview of things we learned about LLMs in 2024 by @simonwillison.net

Back online—happy new year! 🎉 Each year, I like to set a few goals to focus on areas for growth. This article https://buff.ly/4j0UTfD offers a great framework for turning new year's energy into lasting creative habits. What are your resolutions for 2025?
Ha! We were just wondering today where the Christmas card tradition was coming from: www.fastcompany.com/91247829/chr...
I love this not boring yearly update from Spotify. Clever use of the strenghts and shortcomigns of Gen AI:
I'm really impressed by Google's Veo 2 🤯 Can't wait to play with it:
Paula Scher responds to backlash over Pentagram using AI to create 1,500+ illustrations for a federal government website. I see AI as a tool for the future, but it’ll be interesting to see how this develops—and how the design community accepts or rejects tools like this. https://buff.ly/4fiWo5P
I forgot where I found this but I love Kirby:
I’ve been really impressed with www.granola.ai as an AI notetaker. It enhances your notes based on the meeting—or even generates excellent ones if you don’t take any. A mega time-saver and probably more thorough than I am! Are you using any AI notetakers? Which ones?

What’s the most impressive website you’ve come across in 2024? Whether it’s the most beautiful, technically impressive, or memorable for its content, share your favorite! One of mine is https://pendereckisgarden.pl/en/ , a stunning blend of design, content, and technology. #designsky
We just launched our Bluesky integration for @relay.app ! 🙌 You can now easily automate your Bsky workflows, for example: monitor specific profiles for new posts, schedule posts and replies, get notified on Slack for @-mentions, and much more. We’re excited to see how you’ll use this!
Sora is released today. I feel many models have passed what they showed of Sora months ago. I'm curious how it stacks up to the likes of Runway, Haiper, Hunyuan, Stable Video and others. MKBHD released what is probably the first review of Sora: https://buff.ly/3ZObDPW
NASA recently released new images of Jupiter made by their Juno spacecraft. They invite the public to process the raw images, which is awesome. There are some real stunners in there! https://buff.ly/32eQGhs
Pantone announced the color of the year for 2025: Mocha Mousse, a "mellow brown infused with a sensorial and comforting warmth" 👀 Nice site though!
Interesting to observe the debate/outrage about Pentagram's work for Performance.gov, where they made use of gen AI. Regardless whether you like the outcome, technology is going to keep changing the world like it has always done in the past. Great article about this case:
Check out the sweet new updates to our @notion.com integration in Relay.app!
I really like this article where Justin Jay Wang explains how he explored different methods for randomly generated gradients for OpenAI's early visual identity:

Word Labs just shared an AI system that generated a 3D world from an image. You can try it out on their website. It is still a bit limited, but it is already really awesome! Curious if for pictures it will hallucinate and invent things that aren't there in real life.
Although Arc couldn't break my old browser habits, I'm actually pretty interested in Dia. Curious if they can really break down the browser and put it back together again as an experience that makes more sense:
I'm really digging this CSS advent calendar: https://cssadventcalendar.dev/ What a fun way to brush up on my very rusty CSS skills.
I'm messing around with some no-code lo-code sitebuiders. Was just about to upgrade to Framer Basic, but to my surprise additional sales tax was added which makes it more expensive than Webflow for fewer 'features'. Just a nicer UI. Should I try Webflow instead? Thoughts @jordyvdboom.bsky.social ?
This article explores how Minecraft has evolved beyond a mere game into a versatile platform that fosters creativity across various artistic disciplines. It made me realize that I haven't messed around with Minecraft too much. I'd love to visit some of these maps.
Late to the party but the Ebay Evo design system looks great. That said, so far Ebay still feels the same? I wonder how it will evolve (no pun intended) once they really start putting it through its paces when applying to the the product.
Wow! Check out Oasis, a playable, realtime, open-world AI model. It's a real-time AI version of Minecraft that runs without a game engine. oasis.decart.ai/introduction

I love this simple automation 👉 it extracts all info from expenses and then if it’s no EUR currency it finds the issue date-exchange rate and it make the calculations to have all in EUR 🔥 Love working with @relay.app

ChatGPT was tasked with designing a website, and the result? A textbook lesson in user manipulation. Very interesting, but not shocking—it reflects the dark patterns we navigate daily. Thought-provoking or just troubling? www.fastcompany.com/91233844/cha...
An interesting experiment with an AI-powered Jesus. I'm curious what model is used and what people asked him. I wonder if AI could enable 'conversations' with historical figures in a future with better AI reasoning and loads and loads of context. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
