Peter Cullen was one of these people I never thought would really pass away. I'd become older and wrinkled and somehow he would still be there, voicing Optimus. I'm actually devastaded, I wasn't expecting these news any sooner. Rest in Peace man

Hey I participated in a reanimated project of the 1986 movie! It's on youtube now!! Had the luck of animating my favorite scene from the film!

Behind the scenes tidbit: I made all BGs using watercolor. It aint THAT great, since I'm still new to this technique but I hope I can do the same again in the future with bigger canvas. It was a fun experiment, I loved doing it

Btw my headcanon is confirmed once again. Being a prime fucking sucks and G1 Rodimus is being vindicated for the 100x time this century. Optimus is like a week without the matrix and the light already came back to his optics my man is freeeeee

I like the 1986 movie and I love G1 but deep down I wish there was an alternative timeline where Optimus is dead from start to finish and the whole theme were the characters (and the audience) needing to accept that sometimes people we love die and we need to deal w/ it. Not good to sell toys tho.

This conflict between Elita and OP looks interesting on the surface but its lacking the very necessary sensibility and nuance it had back on the space bridge's arc. Optimus feels like an impotent husband and Elita a bitch wife, am I reading this wrong? Maybe the problem is me??

That all being said I'd die for Elita and I'm not looking forward for the very eminent humbling character arc
