Watching ‘Thunderball’. Very impressed at how Sean Connery’s hairpiece stays in place during all the underwater scenes!

A bad week for legends. RIP Tim Curry.

A true icon. As beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. RIP Dolly.

Power cut on my side of the street but not on the other side of the road. So at least I can still watch my neighbour’s large screen TV through the window…

@jamestalarico.bsky.social is what a politician should be.

We're looking for a location from 1960's 'Identity Unknown' which was filmed in central London, Potters Bar and Bushey Heath but this shot with a police call box and K3 telephone kiosk is a mystery. Can you help? A credit for the first to get in touch. Thanks in advance.

Just had a nice swim with flying ants!

It’s sausage roll Jenga in Morrisons.

Amazon made £62 BILLION last year, but only paid a fraction of what they should in tax. We must stop this! 38d.gs/mexd

I had heard that Trooping the Colour featured a lot of men wearing bare skin. Imagine my disappointment…

So, Trooping the Colour, it’s in June, it’s kinda the Royal Family version of Pride…

Trooping the Colour is a fantastic event for lovers of horse poo.

Clare Balding is a bit of safe choice to present Trooping the Colour. The BBC should have gone with Rylan.

17 people died trying to cool off in extreme, record breaking May heat. Farage’s reaction? Nothing, his plan is to reverse climate change legislation & drill for more oil. 1 man is murdered by a Sikh. His reaction? We should react with “pure cold rage” It’s not about saving life, it’s about racism.

I learned today that Elton John’s Philadelphia Freedom was written about Billie Jean King! Far more flattering than the song Michael Jackson wrote about her…

My knees feel as if they have had quite enough kneesing for one day thank you!

Oh well, I just watched The Goonies again and cried. Again. Every bloomin’ time.

Is it just me or does anybody else roar along with the lion at the beginning of an MGM movie?

I feel terrible for having made a purchase at the Tower Records in the basement of Trump Towers. I’m from the UK and was holidaying in New York in 2007. I had only the vaguest knowledge of Trump and no idea of to what I was contributing.

Happy birthday Mr Gregory Porter, whom I had the pleasure of meeting two years ago on this very day! He’s lovely by the way!

Reposting in honour of Mr Teddy Swims birthday today 25th September. He is an amazing hugger by the way!
