I dunno why people think skunks smell so bad they just smell like a group of stoners eating sesame noodles

Yo how fucked is this: my phone absolutely refuses to auto spell fart, but it was more than happy to accidentally spell out rape as the first option when that's not at all what i wanted

It's a bit of a catch 22 because while it makes a stronger story, the trope also re-enforces an idea of how communication normally works when it shouldn't actually be that way. It makes me wonder how many things in society are based more on media tropes than on reality.

I wish media didn't depend on miscommunication for the sake of storytelling so often because I genuinely think it's made a lot of people unable to communicate in a healthy way

A new message from Angel Cammy, because life's been really hitting us hard lately. Voiced by their VA Mach Dent from my backerkit contribution. I've been through a lot since discovering Angel Hare by @theeastpatch.bsky.social and it's brought me a lot of comfort when I've desperately needed it.

I wish I had more to post here more often but I really hate the limitation on how much I can say in a post.

Joined team mystery on #artfight and spiffed up my profile to satisfaction!

June's Mini Comic for #pride, with Salem, a fearmonger who works at the Black Cat Cauldron Cafe in the My Magic Granpda #comic. He's the only fearmonger in a romantic relationship, with the only human to fall in love with an identified fearmonger. #art #artsky #ocsky #oc www.mymagicgrandpa.net

Over time I've been doing 10-12 tiny practice sketches and it's been helping me figure out poses. I also sketched the occasional person who stood out based on mental notes when looking at them. I'll probably reference some of these for art fight. #art #artsky #practice #sketches #poses

I just finished filling all the character slots on Art Fight since I want to participate for the first time this year. You can follow here: artfight.net/~jitterbugjive #artfight

Just an FYI I ordered another Cameal line on backerkit and I'm just waiting for it to arrive so I can try to animate it too. It's another message I think a lot of people need to hear right now.

About the current writing worldbuilding discourse going on on bsky rn none of these fucking idiots seem to know what a personal preference or an opinion is, they all stupidly think writing has to be done a specific way when that's not true at all. Yall just being pretentious fucks.

in my search for the usual wild and weird shirt I found one even I wouldn't wear because all I can see are boiled eggs and condoms

Honestly I need to make a habit of drawing more whacky people I see in Portland. Not denying that I'm one of them, either. I drew him in my comic once but I should draw a standalone of the rainbow skeleton wizard I saw on a definitely not halloween day

Saw a guy riding the train in #Portland #Oregon wearing a yellow hoodie and a traffic cone on his head so I had to draw him #art #artsky #digitalart #doodle #sketch

Spinel is a bad influence, Mescats don't swear like he does. Mini comic for a bigger comic project in the works called "WTF? I'm a Magical Girl's Familiar?!" #comic #webcomic #art #artsky #ocsky #originalcharacter #magicalgirl

Spinel got a redesign where he has frosting hair. Naturally someone had to figure out if it was more frosting, or more hair. Silly side comic for my bigger comic project being planned called "WTF? I'm a Magical Girl's Familiar!?" #comic #webcomic #artsky #art #ocsky #oc #originalcharacter

No time to animate yet. Had online drama recently and my motto is what keeps me from harm. Some people may need to hear this, too. ahh fuck i just noticed the totino's pizza says "new recipe" and I KNOW that means they made it cheaper i hope it doesn't taste too different cuz this was a comfort food 🫠

I think someone tried to driveby insult me today but as usual I couldn't understand the bulk of it. My thought tho was like "lady, I don't know why you think I'd be upset by an insult when I'm dressed like a fucking arcade clown"

my exploding head syndrome just got much worse because now when I'm trying to sleep, instead of hearing random explosions I hear the building evacuation alarms go off for a split second which makes me leap up in a panic Wahoo, isn't #parasomnia great?

me tweaking because i right click and it says "change image link" instead of "change image url" do do people not know what a url is now

ngl I really dislike social media that significantly limits what you can say and won't let you edit your own posts. it's designed to cause problems and drama, I don't see any other reason those features should be a thing. If we lose tumblr we'll lose something vital, and that's long posts.
