My thanks to my team. We’re holding our heads high this morning. I knew going in to this race that one way or another, I’d be starting a new chapter in my life. I’m excited to find out in the coming weeks what, exactly that will be!

I’ll have some more thoughts tomorrow, but tonight want to say I’m hopeful and proud. My thanks to an incredible group of volunteers.

I’ve spent at least a little time on voting day in each of my last three campaigns diving in to the bins and spinning some platters at The Record Centre. Tomorrow I’ll be there from 4:30-6. Drop by, say hi, and enjoy some tunes. And be sure to vote!

I want to thank Hallie Cotnam and Ottawa's community associations for organizing what I thought was one of the best-moderated and formatted debates of the election season. It was broad-ranging, thoughtful and I think helpful to residents who may be wondering how to vote.

It’s a two-way race, with eight days to go. Among undecided voters, 61% say they won’t vote for Mark Sutcliffe. I’m working to earn those votes and deliver buses that run on time, affordable housing and a city that works.

Back home from spending the day on the doors in Kanata and Brittania. Thanks to all my team for this last push! I’ve got a couple hours on the phones, then rest up for tomorrow!

Households earning minimum wage struggle to afford housing, groceries and transportation. Many earn above the cut-off to qualify for a discounted transit pass. When I'm mayor, I'll change that.

One of the great joys of this campaign has been door-knocking with volunteers across the city. They've been delightful, awesome and inspiring. Today I'll be in Kanata then Bay wards knocking doors, and gratifying as resident response has been, seeing the team is what I'm most looking forward to.

My son and his partner are briefly in town for the holiday, so we did a quick family outing to the Farm! The livestock were their usual delightful selves. I'm grateful today for the beauty of this city, family, and the support that surrounds me in my current undertaking. Happy Thanksgiving, Ottawa.

While my team canvassed beautiful Kitchissippi this morning, a few of us got out to Orleans to distribute literature and get me on the doors for a few hours. Absolutely perfect election weather!

Barrhaven residents are getting into the Hallowe’en spirit! I enjoyed seeing the decorations starting to show up as I was on the doors talking transit.

Huge night in Millennium Park where St. Patrick and St. Matthew renewed their Saints Bowl rivalry in front of 800 people. I could only stay for a short while, but saw some great ball with a lot of looks. We need more of this.
