Nobody's first mini looked good. Nobody's. The painters you admire have a shoebox of early horrors. Keep going. #MiniaturePainting #Beginner #HobbyTalk

Writing tie-ins is *a real fucking skill* and anyone who sneers at the people who do it can go piss up a rope. You think it's easy to write an entire novel to very specific order on an almost impossibly tight deadline? And have it be satisfying to read? Motherfucker, *you* try it. See how you do.

Games Workshop is finally retiring its most iconic series of armoured vehicles, which isn't unexpected. The design language of Warhammer 40 000 has gone off the rails, with no sense of style, themes or ludonarrative. The whole "stagnant empire in decay" that made 40k famous is just gone.
