Mavericks center Dereck Lively II was previously dealing with an injury, so how is he feeling now? “Great, man. Bumps and bruises ain’t gonna stop the boat from moving forward.”

The Dallas Wings announced their 2025 WNBA schedule today. The Wings’ regular season will begin on May 16 at home against the Minnesota Lynx.

Kyrie Irving (right shoulder soreness) is out for tonight’s Mavericks-Trail Blazers game. Luka Doncic (right wrist sprain) is returning tonight. He is available for the Mavericks-Trail Blazers game.

Klay Thompson (left foot plantar fascia), Naji Marshall (illness) and Dereck Lively II (right knee hyperextension) are all OUT for tonight's Mavericks-Trail Blazers game.

Luka Doncic (right wrist sprain) and Kyrie Irving (right shoulder soreness) are both questionable for tonight's Mavericks-Trail Blazers game.

Will Kyrie Irving receive MVP consideration?

The Dallas Mavericks are now 5-1 without Luka Doncic this season. They were 4-8 without him last year.

Just livin’ 🤙🏼 Almost been in Dallas for a year now. Been a wild ride. Great city, happy to be here.

Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd says Quentin Grimes and Jaden Hardy will help to "pick up the slack" amid Luka Doncic's injury absence. Of course, Kidd expects Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson to lead the way.

The Mavericks lose 115-113. They are now 5-7 overall. This is their fourth consecutive game of losing by 3 points or less. The Mavs are playing competitive basketball, but they are struggling in clutch time.
