Garden wildlife. The three cubs (1st photo) and their Mum (2nd photo) last night, and a couple of photos of one of the cubs taken a little earlier. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. Some phone photos of the vixen (the mother of the cubs) from this evening. All three cubs were around too, and were fed further down the garden. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

All three adults were visible at the same time on Quadrant House this morning in the then light rain. From left to right it's the older male, 2025 male and then the female. #londonbirds

Garden wildlife. 1/2. Two of the Fox cubs late this afternoon, one licking/grooming the other. The licker seemed to be enjoying it more than the one being licked!๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Sutton Peregrines. One of the male Peregrines (I think the older one) on a building near the High Street this morning, and being mobbed by a Carrion Crow. You can hear alarm calling, but the volume needs to be turned up quite high to do so. #londonbirds

Garden wildlife. The three Fox cubs this evening. 'White tip' is on the bench, and the other two are a bit further back in the garden. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. 3 different Zoropsis spinimanas found yesterday/last night. The 1st was rescued from a neighbour's waste bin. The 2nd was on one of my bins near the front door (outside) and was relocated onto the shed. Finally, the 3rd was inside the shed window. @britishspiders.bsky.social

Sutton Peregrines. 1/3. The older male had a bit of harassment from at least three Carrion Crows this morning while he was trying to feed. He alarm called and chased them at times, and he prevailed in the end! #londonbirds

Garden wildlife. The vixen last night, and one of the cubs, 'white tip', this morning! All 3 cubs were present last night too.๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildife

Garden wildlife. All three Fox cubs this evening. Firstly 'white tip' near the house - fortunately, it's now walking/running (and 'fighting') perfectly normally. Then another near the house while the other two (including 'white tip') were squabbling in the background. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ

Garden wildlife. 1/3. All three cubs were in the garden this afternoon, and while not 100% I was pleased 'white tip' looking okay, putting weight on the presumed injured leg, and walking quite normally. A couple of videos follow. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ

Garden wildlife. 1/3. A worrying development with one of the Fox cubs, 'white tip'. I saw it briefly during the day holding a rear leg up. It didn't come to feed with the other two, but did come soon after, and I subsequently got a short video (in 2/3). Hopefully it will recover okay.

3/3. All three were sleeping in the garden next door earlier today, but I didn't see any of them walking. 'White tip' is the one mainly hidden, and closest to the fence.

Garden wildlife. Some Fox photos. First 'white tip' curled up in the garden yesterday afternoon, then the 3 cubs feeding and the vixen (Mum) last night (phone photo), and finally one of the cubs (not 'white tip') looking for food under the bird feeders this morning. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ

Sutton Peregrines. Both adult males were sitting quite close to each other this morning, the older one briefly leaving to engage with a couple of Crows but returning to the same spot on the corner. The 2025 male has quite a full crop too! #londonbirds

Garden wildlife. Last night the Zoropsis spinimana on the outside of the shed was feeding on something - difficult to ID, though it did appear to be one of the Anyphaena numidas that are also out and about on the shed at the moment, and likely passing quite close to each other. #Britishspiders

Garden wildlife. An Anyphaena numida found on the kitchen ceiling this morning. Very sprightly once caught, and even when in the pint glass it was photographed in it was able to scale the sides effortlessly. Released on the shed where there are others. @britishspiders.bsky.social #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. A rather nice Lacewing on the back door last night. Probably, but not definitely, Common Green Lacewing (Chrysoperla carnea). I've always been fascinated by these! #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. Last night I found a Segestria florentina on the shed. I have around 25-30 here now, but so far they have all been on the house itself or on a fence close/parallel to the side of the house, 1.5/2m from it. This was about 5/6m away from the nearest fence one. #britishspiders

Garden wildlife. The vixen (the mother of the cubs) came to be fed quite early today at about 17.00. The cubs were a bit later as usual, and it was by then getting dark. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. A lovely Zoropsis spinimana on the shed last night. Possibly my favourite spider, and one I've seen fairly regularly here over the last few years. And a second one was inside the shed too - only underside views of that one, but they're quite distinctive! @britishspiders.bsky.social

Garden wildlife. A not great photo of a Common Pipistrelle Bat from last night - it's an enlargement of a a screenshot taken from a phone video. I often see these, and occasionally Soprano Pipistrelles. #londonwildlife

Sutton Peregrines. 1/3. All 3 adults were present together when I checked this morning. In this 1st photo it was the female on top, the older male left and the 2025 male to the right.

Garden wildlife. 1/2. Some photos of Fox cubs from today. These first four are of 'white tip', the second in which it's clearly very relaxed! When it move to the position in the 4th photo I noticed movement behind it, and saw a second cub where I didn't expect - see 2/2 for more!

2/2. And that one was curled up asleep in an old bird bath I no longer use because it's cracked and leaks. 'White tip' did subsequently move to sleep close to its sibling, interacting with it a bit too. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Garden wildlife. One of the Fox cubs (white tip) sleeping in the garden earlier today. It eventually got up and went to join a sibling sleeping in the garden next door, during which time its other sibling appeared but didn't stay. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife

Sutton Peregrines. 1/2. The chicks in 2025 hatched between 27/04 and 01/05, so the 2025 male is now 17 months old! Here are two videos from last night of the 2025 male feeding as it was getting dark. #londonbirds

Garden wildlife. The Fox family feeding last night. The three cubs are at the end of the garden and the vixen (Mum) is nearer the house. ๐Ÿงก๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ #londonwildlife
