An AH-64 Apache starts at around $35m. Of course, a human life is priceless. We're being lied to about all the costs of this war -- from global economic damage to war materiel to lives. Why are we putting up with it? Nukes? We have better solutions. We're smarter than this.

GOP's response to Trump ratings: Dems' approval is only 10%! If Dems can't brand themselves in, say, 4 words on a ball cap, they should keep doing what they're doing (and winning): Promote the candidate, not the "brand." One person wholly owns one party's brand. The other party's brand is a co-op.

Trump says he's the most accessible president ever, always answering questions. No journalist has ever said, "You're right, always up for mic/photo ops. But 98% of what you say is nonsense, everything else is a flat-out lie." (Check figures.) I'm a journalist. If I had that access ... Just.Say.It.

Why should Dems trust the GOP ever? GOP: "You're holding gov't hostage. Open it, we'll talk." Dems: "We trusted you X times to do things your way. You reneged every time. Like, we trusted your nominees - they all lied about what they were 'going' to do." Message: "They can't be trusted." Simple.
