Think I'm locking in my midterm guess at the House being a huge blue tsunami at 245+ for the Democrats, but the performance in the Senate is just a good Blue Wave at 52 seats, which is what's needed to beat the Fetterman issue Maine and Michigan are the concern

I think Maine and Michigan are the tipping points from something truly special for Democrats If they go blue, the number will be at least 54, with a real shot at 55. Mississippi is in play at that point

Annnnnd people will still defend him for this

Q: Amy Acton's stepfather was indicted for rape. Now that you know all that, sir, do you change your mind about the ad? Trump: No. I don't care

Like, look at how this was framed He died 3 months ago! Your story lost all its credibility! Nobody cares cause he can't be punished or defamed now! Now you can just easily be shown as people disparaging a dead man who were too afraid to do this when he was alive Idiots

I just got a sneak peek of this doc and I gotta say, it’s pretty compelling

Yeahhhhh, this dude has the goods

Sam Forstag@samforstag.bsky.social

FORSTAG’S CLOSING MESSAGE: You should only have to work one good job and afford a roof over your head, health coverage that gets you care, childcare, and a stable retirement.

I know absolutely nothing about this man. But if he has a clean record, is pro-choice, pro-gun, strong on immigration, can hold his own on a debate stage, and is anti-data centers — that's 300-plus electoral votes in the bag

ashley fairbanks@ziibiing.com

wait a democrat is polling +3 in montana’s congressional race and he is a smokejumper that looks like this? why has no one told the thirsty masses?

One thing I'm very curious about is *if* sadly Talarico doesn't win, would it be the final straw for Dems to stop the Blue Texas dream? Obviously, Texas has become more blue over the last few years, but if the ideal candidate can't beat one of the worst candidates in recent history....idk guys

It's a Catch 22, because while previous attempts failed, they helped make the state bluer than it was. And win or lose, Talarico's campaign has done the same But at a certain point — you simply gotta breakthrough and win. And if it's not THIS time, then it's probably not realistic

If he wins, oh buddy, it's gonna be biblical for Musk

Headquarters@headquartersnews.bsky.social

James Talarico after Elon Musk sent $158M to support Ken Paxton: Big money is powerful. The richest man in the world is coming after us but it is nothing compared to people power. Elon wants our land. He wants our water for these AI data centers. He wants his very own personal United States senator

(This poll was within the limits of a polling error in both 24 and 22. It was very accurate within the last two cycles. Folks....something is happening)

……I don’t want to jinx anything But everything is starting to point toward me being wrong here Think now the concern is how the administration will respond 2 weeks from tonight

John Reecer@johnreecer.bsky.social

Gonna be a full 4 weeks of this discourse, in general And the result will remain what it always is for midterms — a healthy wave/swing for whoever the opposition party is, but not a gigantic tsunami that many within the opposition party hoped for

This is NOT an indication of who will win. However, we have the numbers from Day 1 of Early Voting in Texas. Anyone celebrating victory is being silly. Lotta votes left But...Republicans celebrating *this* is deeply funny. That was a dominant Day 1 showing by Dems compared to the last 2 cycles

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

Dems: WOW crazy high turnout, Talarico is going to win! GOP: turnout is collapsing in Texas! No path for Talarico. Guys, it’s day one of early voting. Save the hot takes for at least Thursday. Or election night.

The pattern Talarico needs to breakthrough is very high Democratic turnout along with depressed Republican turnout And that's quite factually what happened yesterday. Now, it has to be sustainable. We'll see!

Being a sports fan has its good days and very many bad days Not…..an ideal past 12 hours to be a Notre Dame football and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. Soul-crushing stuff

Needs to be some very tough questions for Liam Coen after this Going for it could’ve won the division and put the Texans out cold of the playoffs But he was a coward, played not to lose, and the season just changed

John Reecer@johnreecer.bsky.social

This loss is entirely on Liam Coen for calling that kick He’s been completely terrible as a coach for two weeks now. Just makes absolutely no sense

I think that’s a huge mistake by Liam Coen Amazing kick, but the Texans now have a 2-minute drill and 3 timeouts to simply get a FG Makes no sense. He played not to lose

John Reecer@johnreecer.bsky.social

…….oh no Liam Coen

If the Jacksonville Jaguars want to win this game, they need to release Brian Thomas Jr. at halftime I’m so tired of posting this every single week. Give Josh Cameron all his plays and the move the hell on already

Living in a world where that’s a flag for DPI in the endzone on Travis Hunter but what happened to Notre Dame last night wasn’t…. Well, it’s only my world cause those are my teams and misery loves me

Would’ve much rather BYU boat raced Notre Dame over missing the obvious defensive holding call and that one second was clearly still on the clock All they had to do was simply blow their whistles and review the final play like any normal crew would’ve done Pretty depressed, honestly

Me for the rest of the night, knowing my team hasn’t won a title in nearly 40 years and instead of enjoying the rest of this season like a normal fan, I have to listen to the entire football media landscape explain *again* why Notre Dame shouldn’t make the playoff Just gonna drink a beer, idk.

Just sucks. Sure we can beat Miami and all will be okay. But that’s such a harder task than his BYU team without its second best player. Just doesn’t feel like Notre Dame’s year

On paper, this early slate was supposed to be awesome But aside from Aidan Chiles, the quarterback play across the board has been….well it won’t be remembered, to say the least

Arch is also playing terrible right now, but I have absolutely no idea what Sark is thinking on some of these play calls Starting to think he’s lost his touch

Absolutely brutal start thus far from Julian Sayin I simply don’t take anyone seriously who has a 1st round grade on him. Stat-watching does not equal a good excuse on a 1st round grade Never has been!

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING (2026) The movie of the year, for sooooo many reasons. A complete masterwork. There are things in this movie that will be studied for years to come And I won’t spoil it — but the climax in this had my entire audience in an uproar This should win Best Picture
