I rarely wore them in the last couple of months, but it still felt a little hypocritical to protest data centers while a pair of Meta glasses were sitting in my desk drawer. I originally bought them for translation and to document my trip to Italy, and to play music. Feels better to be rid of them.

I've been getting messages from Meta lately saying I'm eligible to make revenue from my content, now they're offering a 1:1 call with a 'media expert' to help generate more viewers. You really don't get it, do you Meta. I use your platform to help my business succeed. Not the other way around.

Tonight was the first time I got to make a badass rook sacrifice in a live chess event and get an impressed reaction from my opponent, and a few people watching. Felt pretty sweet!

Thank you to my friend @fayehavoc.bsky.social, who recently sewed an insane 20' single seam to help me create a fabric backdrop for the studio. This project will save thousands in paper costs while reducing my carbon footprint, and significantly decrease my business's reliance on US made supplies.
