What a morning it was in CO-08! I delivered our endorsement of @mannyrutinel.bsky.social & then intro’d both of CO’s Senators, Bennet & Hickenlooper, & one of my favorite House members, Jason Crow. The canvass was organized by @seiu.org & it seemed like all of Colorado was there for Manny!!!

State Sen. Sean McCann is going to unseat Bill Huizenga, sponsor of the bill to create a “commission” to go behind closed doors & cut your Social Security. Sean knows how to legislate, and neither MI-04 nor any senior issues advocacy group will miss Huizenga one iota.

UAW turns out for Will Lawrence @WeWill2026.bsky.social & me!!! Labor is on a comeback in America, and I’ve rarely seen such enthusiasm on the ground for progressive candidates. Workers have just had it up to here with a system rigged for the ultra-wealthy, who need to pay their fair share!

Well, if I had to pick the most exhilarating event of my 2026 tour of America’s elections, it might be this one. Gotta say that PA-07 candidate firefighter @VoteBobBrooks and I wowed an electric SRO crowd at the historic Steelworkers Hall in Bethlehem PA Friday! What a day!!

I have already gone from Alaska to South Florida & from Northern Maine to Southern California doing events with candidates who support protecting & expanding Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid & who will fight to lower drug prices. Everyone just needs to do what they can!!!

Packed houses & great volunteer base too for Scranton Mayor @PaigeCognetti.bsky.social in PA-08! Her opponent Rob Bresnahan, wants to turn your Social Security over to Wall Street. And his massive insider trading scandal shows he’s pretty cozy with Wall St already! VOTE HIM OUT!!!

David Valadao said he wouldn’t support a bill that made harmful cuts to Medicaid or put Central Valley hospitals at risk. Days later, he voted for the Big Ugly Bill, which will cut about $1 trillion from Medicaid over 10 years and leave 11.8 million more people uninsured. SHAME.
