I’m reminded of how popular Gravity Falls still is despite having ended a decade ago. Sometimes, a good story made with intention is enough, and speaks for itself.

people really need to understand that it's okay for things to end media doesn't need to be perpetual, that's where we end up with 729471 mediocre simpsons seasons and marvel films

I still think about good ol' Sheriff Hayseed now and then. If I ever revisit it, I'd do so many things different, it would be completely unrecognizable. I drew the boys as they exist in my head now. I think Todd would be Canadian.

The premiere was fun. Thanks and apologies to everyone for their support and allowing me to make this show all personal and mentally ill and weird and sad. Here's a picture of @nickszopko.bsky.social and I overdosing.

I know people are upset with my response, which is fine, but I kind of just wanted to make a cartoon, & it's ended up being way more trouble than it's worth. I really just can't keep my heart in this thing anymore. It's gotten too much bigger than me, & I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of it.

Sorry for the breakdown earlier. Honestly I haven't been behaving very professionally on social media, so I think I need to step back from it and reevaluate my priorities.
