Noticing the vast horde of "starter pack" followers has slowed WAY down since data centers got blown up. Is Bluesky a place to connect/engage with people or is it 90% algorithm/bot jiggery-pokery like Xhitter, FB, etc? Lots of "likes" to my skeets, VERY few comments.

The response when progressive policies that help millions of people are proposed... "How will you pay for it?" The response when the richest 1% ask for tax cuts, or banks ask for bailouts, or defense contractors ask for more contracts... "How much do you need?" It doesn't have to be this way.

Sooo, #Substack. Heard about it for decades, just now (don't laugh) coming around to it. Thinking about it as a place to start a blog for personal reasons, for developing some writing skills, maybe get a modicum of audience, etc. Is it copacetic to this the way, say, Blogspot back in the day was?
