Just removed the 🇬🇧 from my name in protest against Trump”s “State Visit” to UK next week. I did write to King Charles asking him to withdraw the invitation but he seems to have ignored me. Waste of a stamp ☹️

Trump has said he hates solar panel farms and wind turbines because they disfigure the landscape. Has he ever seen an open cast (surface) coal mine, which account for nearly 70% of US coal production?

Solar panels and wind turbines are temporary structures which can be removed, leaving the landscape unharmed. Surface mines leave a permanent disfigurement. And that’s before any consideration of the climate change implications of burning fossil fuels.
