This is applicable to so many facets of life.

Please… Much of what we assume to be true are responses to what we’ve been told our whole lives by well meaning people who are repeating what they assumed to be true. That doesn’t make it true. Let go of ghosts from the past. Keep learning. Keep moving. Keep growing. Have a great day.

Is there a term for a white person who is ashamed to be white, without wanting to appropriate another ethnicity? Like a white flag (poor example) to surrender to the fact that I know I have no idea what it’s like to not have the privilege I have? Entering a conversation like ‘🏳️ have you tried xyz’

This is so important! More more more of this! #givethelandback Every woke person in the US should be doing more to give back what is rightfully due to indigenous peoples.

Congresswoman Andrea Salinas@salinas.house.gov

Last week, I toured Elderberry Wisdom Farm in #Salem, which helps Indigenous youth learn about their traditions through agriculture. I recently fought to restore funding for the farm to continue carrying out its important mission. Read more 👇

You can’t tell me zero other kids were called something else than is on the attendance sheet! And also, who the fuck reported this because THEY should be the ones fired.

A Florida schoolteacher -- an 11 year veteran -- refused to deadname a trans child in her class. She's been fired for it.

Remember the Keystone Pipeline? Protests by Natives and others worried about risk of rupture and leakage? Big push by Trump? “Safest pipeline in the world! Can never happenen!” Ruptured this morning. Oil surfacing in nearby field. EPA scrambling to protect area stream. #RadioFreeAmerica

Just got back from my first visit to the US under Cheeto rule.. I was in Chicago and honestly concerned that everyone seemed so unbothered! Loved the cops outside of the T*sla location. That‘s your tax money, being used for a man richer than (y)our government. Make him hire his own damn security.
