NASA’s Artemis II Reveals the Basin in Full For the very first time, the mysterious Orientale Basin has been fully photographed. Thanks to Artemis II, humanity now sees the Moon in unprecedented detail, reminding us of the endless wonders beyond Earth. 🛰️

This feels like potential voter suppression. It was in my US Postal Service Informed Delivery email this morning. It is giving an "ICE for mail-in ballots" vibe.

These daily management tips from HBR often have some real gems. The middle manager role I have appreciated this one a lot. link.hbr.org/view/654a941...

link.hbr.orglink.hbr.orgWhen executive mandates shift away from building for the future toward hitting short-term targets, long-term priorities can suffer. As a leader, you’re often caught in the middle, tasked with executing myopic decisions that could jeopardize future competitiveness. Here’s how to protect what matters while operating within current constraints.  Translate long-term impact into short-term proof. Executives act on what they can measure. Use metrics such as customer retention, employee turnover, forecast accuracy, or delivery reliability to make the future visible now.  Build a coalition of realists, not resisters. Influence comes from alignment, not argument. Bring together leaders with shared stakes and purpose. Coordinate messaging around risk to customers, investors, or capabilities. A unified, evidence-based case reframes short-term cuts as long-term liabilities.  Protect the talent and innovation engine. When pressure rises, investments in future capabilities are often first to get slashed. Don’t let that happen. Focus your team on core priorities, keep development moving, and preserve systems that drive future growth. Sustaining innovation capacity is your best defense against volatility.  Encourage patience through metrics and storytelling. Anchor your case in the CEO’s priorities. Use data to prove impact and stories to build belief. Numbers convince, but narratives create alignment and trust across the leadership team.

The House just decisively passed legislation that restores the Affordable Care Act tax credits. Over the objection of Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson. If you don’t know, now you know.

Anyone else on the "Invoice from KEN GAWLER (0010)" reply-all email train that didn't want to be there? Someone must have created a group or list that no one knows how to get away from, including me.

Donald Trump has committed the most profound, harmful and unnecessary economic error in the modern era. Almost everything he said—on history, economics and the technicalities of trade—was utterly deluded econ.st/3YbbFjq

Many people chase wealth, status, and achievement because progress is easy to measure. They fail to realize that the gains that count the most are the hardest to count. Real growth is building character—striving to improve in generosity, integrity, humility, fairness, courage, or wisdom.

How is it ok to have ads on "an ad-free" or "no ads" subscription? "We are clarifying that... circumstances may require that certain titles and types of content include ads, even in our 'no ads' or 'ad free' subscription tiers."

I voted to reject RFK Jr.'s nomination to HHS. I cannot in good conscience support someone who denies and will dilute our public health protections, sow distrust in science, and oversee massive cuts to health care programs for vulnerable Americans.
