Memory is the least sexy thing in agentic AI. It is also the thing that decides whether your system works. New long-form essay + MNEMOS v5.0.1, my six-month Apache 2.0 gift to the agentic community. techbroiler.net/memory-is-no...

Well this is a first. My iPhone 18 Pro Max is a lemon. Face ID camera stopped working. They’re replacing it.

Recently ordered bags of salted hand-rolled pretzels from Martin’s in PA. If you like crunchy, hard, sourdough flavor with well-done crusts, this is the pretzel for you. Recommended. www.martinspretzels.com

Too scary?

Old laptop, Intel Mac or PC that can't run Windows 11 or macOS 27? Or the newest and most powerful GPUs? NCZ-OS is a Wayland-native, fully hardware-accelerated Linux on kernel 7.3. Preview 1 is out: github.com/ncz-os/cix-i...

Refrigerator cyber attack… the horror. All that cheese.

Today I became an official Linux kernel contributor. It’s a very small patch in the PCI subsystem for the upcoming 7.3 but in my 30 years in open source, it’s a first. @brideoflinux.bsky.social @sjvn.bsky.social

If you decide to start your own Linux distribution make sure you have a psychotherapist scheduled on a regular basis. Just sayin’.

Our first dual architecture install of NCZ-OS 26.10 “Cygnus” for AMD64, T2 x86 Macs, and CIX Sky1 Arm64. It’s beautiful. With Wayland GLES shader screensavers. Kernel 7.3-RC6. @sjvn.bsky.social @brideoflinux.bsky.social

Open source runs on people showing up. I show up with disclosed AI assistance, upstream credit and tested fixes. I'd rather argue about a bug than about a toolchain. Door's open if the maintainers want the patches.

What's AI good for? Automated kernel bisecting. 19 kernel tests, to determine 1 commit out of over 19,000 to find what crashes a machine during kernel boot. @sjvn.bsky.social @brideoflinux.bsky.social github.com/t2linux/linu...)

A bit over the top, but Paramount should have given this to us instead of a fan. Nice job though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lhe2...
