Amazing to see, quite literally, hundreds of ‘educated’ men and women be willing to work for an administration that places them firmly on the wrong side of history. Quite bizarre.

Sadly it is time to for Europe to have a plan B. Americans broadly are friends of Europe, but the current government isn’t. So Europe must be diplomatic, believe little, expect nothing and plan for self sufficiency across many pathways….

So what we need is a radical reset of how we look at an alliance. The key thing is to mend the deterrent after the US smashed it. Putin or whoever is next needs to know that the West is united and will help, support and protect each other. #europe

Trump’s contempt towards #Ukraine, #Gaza, #Federal Workers, European security, Human #Aid and diversity. Coupled with his liking of #Putin, grift and weakening of institutions and his lack or moral character and human values. #America, wake up we have a problem.

Only a fool chooses war, but Europe needs to align, invest and prepare for the possibility that one day it may have to again fight alone. The saddest of thoughts when looking backwards.

Makes no sense! What a surprise…

Here’s our piece on the state of play in the Ukraine-US mineral “deal”. Tldr: the American proposal is unclear, punitive and makes no sense. There are perfectly good ways for Ukraine to reward America for support by letting it exploit mineral deposits. This is not one of them.

Elon, I hate to break it to you but you aren’t my boss. I answer to the people of Minnesota. But since you bring it up, I spent last week fighting to stop tax breaks for billionaires like you, paid for by defunding health care for moms and babies

In the depths of the Nebraskan winter, 2400 people came out to listen to Bernie Sanders in Omaha last night. 800 had to be turned away at the door. Over 190,000 tuned into the livestream. There is a movement to be harnessed here. @sanders.senate.gov (📸 Anna Bahr)

Mmm Trump is lying about immigration numbers, Ukraine, threatening allies, weakening the US government and suggesting taking over other countries…are the US now the ‘bad guys’?

The US seems to be neck twisting the wars into some sort of solution. Ending all wars is good, ending them with a bad peace isn’t. If someone could mention this to DT please as it would be nice for our grandkids not to be dealing with the same issues again….#let’snotbe lazyhere

The US has received its lowest ever Corruption Perceptions Index score since Transparency International’s current scale was introduced…..I guess there is a story in there somewhere….
