hmmmm I've been in the furry community for a decade this month... I might do a reflection on that. been thinking lately about the highs and lows over the years, and what I hope the next decade will look like. might be good to do to set some goals for myself.

I don't remember the last time I played a game as insanely detailed in its environments as Silent Hill Townfall. I'm talking Gone Home levels of care put into the placement of furniture, objects, etc. you can read ALL the tiny text on posters, newspapers, and flyers. really enjoying it so far!

not the biggest fan of the stealty (especially with regard to a certain unkillable enemy that stalks your hiding places, resulting in a lot of waiting), but it works most of the time. still feels like a SH game with its combat and puzzles. the atmosphere and ambient music are moody as hell.

oh, another thing is that Alien Isolation was definitely an influence on Townfall with the portable CRTV, and I LOVE that thing. I've been playing this on the heels of finishing Silent Hill f so I think I'll keep my streak going with 3... or pivot to the RE1 remake (only played the original!)

I wish I didn't shut down socially when life gets busier. :( all this manual labor and working with my dad every day (who is exhausting to be around by his nature lol) has made me a hermit for a few weeks. I like the work I'm doing but.. phew. I'm making real sacrifices with my energy and peace.
