All roads lead to Ramaswamy's chief strategist, Jai Chabria, and Strategy Group CEO Ben Yoho as the mastermind of the ad. Spokeswoman Connie Luck, who should probably already be in prison, should also never work in politics again for trying to cast doubt on Acton's well-documented trauma.

David often spoke to me about his military intelligence background and the specialized skills he believed it gave him. He frequently portrayed himself as someone who could manipulate people, deceive others, and stay in control of difficult situations. /

One of the most difficult aspects of that relationship was the fear of retaliation. Throughout our marriage and long afterward, I believed that whenever I spoke up, challenged him, or sought help, there would be consequences. /

That fear influenced countless decisions I made, including when and how I reported what I was experiencing. Even now, I fear speaking the truth of my experiences will lead to retaliation. /

Marisa and I spoke a lot when the NYT broke about how dismayed and sad we were by the way male writers and editors we otherwise liked were excusing horrible allegations and at times being misogynistic. I did speak up vocally and often about the NYT allegations, mostly on X, and you know what?

it's not a secret that @marisakabas.bsky.social is talented — but this in particular captures something important about the misogyny on the left. www.thehandbasket.co/p/graham-pla...

It’s fine. They all got to hear me rant and that’s a good thing. No one came after me personally. I don’t think I got kicked out of any clubs or lost any professional connections and if I did they can go fuck themselves anyway. They can call me an HR lady all day and… I don’t care.

I know who I am and what I stand for and it’s not scold speech policing (which is what that ostensibly means even though we all know it just means…women.) So this is my little pep talk. I was not the only woman doing this, but we need more. Join us. Be brave. Let them call you anything they want.
