Playing around with prototypes atm. This is an idea for a sort of turn-based / rhythm game mashup. The bottom menu would give classic JRPG style options but you have to think fast to take advantage of your turn as the beat keeps rolling regardless #indiedev #gamedev #indiegames

Been a wild release day. One player found out you can run two instruments through one effect which we hadn't actually figured out ourselves. Love it though! #indiedev #gamedev #indiegames #gaming

Creative mode allows your to finally unlock the ability to play four drums at once, all with distortion, reverb and delay. BeatChip '95 release on Monday! #indiedev #gaming #gamedev #indiegames

Final song getting added to BeatChip '95 before release on Monday! Was planning a simple minor jam but decided to go spicy with a phrygian dominant thing. #indiedev #gamedev #gaming #indiegames

Playing with subtle (too subtle?) post-processing effects. Idk now I have figured out the basics I need to get the art director in to actually make decisions! #indiedev #indiegaming #gamedev #gaming

Looking for advice on Player Simulation for balancing my game. Anyone got experience doing this? I've heard Slay the Spire used Monte Carlo simulation... also that Beam Search is a thing... Any advice appreciated! #indiedev #indiegaming #gamedev #gaming

I've tried to avoid having technical musical terms in BeatChip '95 but by popular demand I've added effect names in for ease of recognition. Cassie's happy about it at least! #indiedev #gamedev #indiegaming #gaming

Finally ran the math - players have over 2 billion options for making their own tracks in BeatChip '95! Thanks to my sister who has more math smarts than me XD Here's a more simple track to celebrate #indiedev #gamedev #indiegaming #gaming

What 3 times the bass sounds like in BeatChip '95! This is totally possible in game but somehow today was the first time I thought to actually try it #indiegames #indiedev #gamedev

You are up to date.
