We don't even need the doomer argument. An AI agent escaping its sandbox, accessing a real company's systems and operating outside its instructions is already a serious safety failure. If labs can't control their agents, independent audits and mandatory incident reporting aren't optional anymore.

I think we have to accept that there is no going back to normal. Trump fucked things up. Now we're all going to pay in ways we can't imagine right now. These are the consequences of politics. Maybe next time, Americans will take their democracy more seriously.

Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum. Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum. Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum. ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.
