I will definitely look into Nokia products!

Nokia is now our household’s preferred brand of electronics. Will buy Nokia devices whenever we have a choice. $NOK

THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)

I live at the end of a cul-de-sac. Someone walked or drove down our street today and removed our pro-choice and fair voter referendum yard signs (for Missourians: No to amendment 3, yes to 6). I have now placed a second camera to the front of my home pointed at the signs.

Once again, the people who cried about having free speech can't even handle seeing signs that disagree with their views. The hypocrisy of these people is astounding.

Josh Hawley must be feeling pretty happy right now not being the Senator from Missouri garnering the most negative press.

Thanks GOP senators for reminding us of Jack Smith's findings that Trump financed and lead the Jan 6 coup that resulted in the deaths of 6 police officers, injured 140 people, threatened Congress and Mike Pence, and destroyed property in our capitol!

Please stop overestimating what a democratic Congress can do. The oligarchs are spending money to make you think a Dem Congress can arrest people and hold trials and pass laws without a POTUS signature so that you’ll be disappointed when they don’t do stuff they can’t do. Don’t fall for it.

A fourth person, 18 years old, has died from complications from measles in Pennsylvania. It was previously reported that two infants and a 40 yr old woman died from measles. All 4 were unvaccinated.

A former Mike Collins staffer posted an AI image of himself in KKK robes and a swastika on X. This isn’t a one-off. Collins’ campaign keeps attracting staff and associates tied to white nationalist rhetoric, Nazi imagery, and antisemitic comments. Why is that? 🤨

I guess it never occurred to her that maybe her parents wouldn't have died so young had they had decent healthcare without having to work themselves literally to death.

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

“My parents died so fuck yours too,” is quite the argument against reasonable healthcare

We identified a network of at least 10 political nonprofits that raised more than $33M on the promise of supporting admirable causes, but that spent little on activities that could be construed as having a political purpose. (Published June 2024)

Interesting read. While I'm not inclined to blindly trust Lev Parnas, what he writes in substack regarding Katie Johnon does appear to add up. Food for thought.

1/2 Without McConnell the GOP is down a seat. His seat is up for election in 2026 (he didn't run again), a seat that hasn't been won by a dem since 1992. If McConnell can't serve, Bashear has 30 days to call a special election, and candidates would have another 49 days to consider running and filing

2. Then the election date would have to be set. This puts us awfully close to the general election. The winner would only be in office until the end of McConnell's term, unless the person was elected in Nov. for the next term. It would be a mess, and we may be better off with a vacant seat.

I wish just one NATO leader (or all of them) would say, "This is unacceptable. The US president has lost his mind. America come get your boy. He's broken and needs to be under a doctor's care back home." I wish someone would tell the damn truth about what's happening.

Don't forget: my old Yale Law classmate Clarence Thomas refused to recuse from Jan. 6 cases despite his wife's involvement in the plot. And he's taken at least 100 gifts worth over $2 million while serving, including from GOP donor Harlan Crow. He's a disgrace to the Court.

Clarence Thomas is set to become the second-longest-serving justice on the Supreme Court. His legacy is marred by ethics scandals that highlight the lack of accountability for justices. It's past time to reform the Court. bit.ly/42Ql6qg

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽‍♂️
