Ferrari started the season aiming to improve their straight-line performance. So far, they do NOT seem to have achieved that: only Aston was slower on average, with Ferrari matching Audi. Epic drives by LEC and HAM, scoring 30 points from P4-P5 with such a low top speed!

Alonso was one of the four drivers to reach 351 km/h during the #USGP! The Honda-powered Aston can reach high top speeds (low drag, possibly decent ICE power), but not CONSISTENTLY: deployment is unsustainable, so Aston’s AVERAGE top speed was the lowest of any team
