Used to be “Vote like your life depended on it” was a bit of hyperbole.

You know who we don’t talk enough about? The people that didn’t bother voting in 2024. Why are we giving them a pass?

When the history of these times are written the Congressional Republicans will play an oversized role.

We need some sort of narrative, updated daily, that really shines a light on all of this Admin’s moves. How many people know about the JAG firings, and what that implies? So many small things that are lost on most need to be put together like a story.

Brothers and Sisters of all political persuasions, is this really what we want?

It was always going to come down to this. The demographic changes to the U.S. are a threat to white male hegemony. Did you think they’d go down without a fight? This is an existential fight to them. They don’t care about norms or rules. Democracy’s fatal flaw is its faith in institutions.

Over the next few months we’ll hear so many people say they didn’t vote for this. My reply to them will be, “I voted for NOT this.”

They are destroying the government. They are destroying the government because they feel safe. They are destroying the government because they feel insulated. They are destroying the government because they do not fear the power of a people united. They should. Are you ready?

As a nation we’re still talking about the CEO killing but not the mass shooting that happened yesterday.
