Tonight’s movie selection - Hocus Pocus 2 Is it better than the original? No. Is it still a cute, fun, and enjoyable movie? Yes! I don’t need movies to be epic. Hocus Pocus 2 is just fun, and that’s all I really ask from a movie.

Can you imagine if folks wrote here, on Bluesky, like they do on LinkedIn?! If you haven't been on LinkedIn in the last couple years, you won't understand this, but those of us who've, sadly, been on LinkedIn, know the horrors and absolutely unhinged BS thats over there.

To be a silent statue among the graves of those who have walked before us. To guard their spirits, as their bodies decay and return to the earth, someday to return as…something else.

I’m coming to the end. The completion of a journal is on the horizon. This is, actually, a rare occurrence, for me. Because, while I love writing in journals and notebooks, I rarely finish one. Most sit on shelves with only a portion of their pages filled with words.

Few things are more humiliating then when your therapist laughs and smiles at an insight you just had. Finally giddy and gleeful that you came to such a conclusion after waiting oh so very long. You've won this round of therapy, but I'll see you next week.

Listen, if I'm on your website looking for a rough idea of how much you cost, and you dont have anything, and expect me to give you my information to get a quote... I'm leaving, and you're not getting squat!

I’ve made an effort, this year, to start printing my photography, and create photo books, and archive my photography physically. It’s a larger project and commitment than I originally thought it would be, however, not a decision I regret in the slightest.

The sheer amount of reminders that are sent out for appt. these days is absurd. My cat has grooming appt. on Tuesday and so far I've gotten 5 texts, 7 emails, and a call in the last week. All just reminders of the appt.

It's a simple question. Will you disavow the ending of How I Met Your Mother? I haven't heard you disavow it.

Almost every company I have ever worked with or bought from, at some point, and in some way, has asked me to fill out a customer survey. This could include an after call survey, mail in postcard, emailed multi-page survey, or, sometimes, even an in person survey.

I think, I, like many other people, sometimes participated in those surveys in hopes of the company getting better. However, year after year, companies have proven by their actions, that they don’t really care about customer feedback. And year after year, companies just get worse and worse.

Someone commented on one of my posts last night... "Your posts suck!" And I thought, how sad it is that person felt the need to comment that, instead of just scrolling by, and finding others who post content he did like. Oh well, for those of you who like my posts, good morning.

Your occasional reminder that polls don't mean shit, you have to show up and vote, preferably early and in person if you can

1991 - My sister Jessica, my brother James, and me… I'm Batman. That Batman costume got a lot of use over the years. I wore it for multiple Halloweens, and a few impromptu Phantom of the Opera living room performances.

I'll confess, I've been intrigued by the idea of a personal wiki for a month or two. Some people have also called it a "digital garden" I've decided to use Obsidian for the software, but I've no idea what I will ultimately put in my wiki.

I've given serious thought to transcribing old journal entries into it's own private vault, but, that would take a tremendous amount of time and effort to accomplish. I guess time will tell.

This actually, genuinely, makes me sad. When I was younger I played a fighter jet simulator with a joy stick, and I loved it. No, seriously, I spent hours flying. I've wanted to get back into a simulator for awhile, but it was super frustrating and not at all fun. Maybe it was the game, I dunno.
