@pablo.show graciously made some time to come through the NBA Daily virtual studios to chat with me & @justesbaraheni.bsky.social about the punishment for the Clippers and what comes next.

Did the Knicks just pull off the greatest championship run ever? Video for @theathletic.com:

Jalen Brunson, Steph Curry, Tony Parker and Isiah Thomas are the only guards 6’2 or shorter to win Finals MVP. This championship changes a lot for him as far as all-time status. Sort of like Dirk in 2011,

Spurs made some real adjustments that panned out in a major way in Game 3. Wemby on Hart permanently + Keldon on KAT to help them force more turnovers. 21 points off 13 turnovers for them. They also scored 40 points in the restricted area. Wemby/Castle/Harper cooked inside.

Victor Wembanyama has been absurdly good in this game. He has 14 of his 32 points in the restricted area. Again, the Spurs spacing in the pick-and-roll has allowed him to get easier looks via lobs, duck-ins.

19 points off turnovers for the Spurs after 3 quarters. That's the most they've had in these Finals so far.

The one guy who is flat-out just not afraid of Wemby as a defender: OG Anunoby.

10 of Steph Castle’s 18 points have been in the restricted area. A couple of and-ones. The drives have been available for him and the rest of the Spurs guards tonight. Great sign for the Spurs.

It was around this time of Game 2 that KAT really started to assert his dominance. He led the Knicks to an 8-0 run just now. Assist to Clarkson in the corner, got fouled on an offensive rebound, took Fox 1-on-1 for the finish, and had the poke out that led to the OG three.

San Antonio’s favorite son is getting the royal treatment. People are nice, actually. @justesbaraheni.bsky.social and I are having a great time.

I promise I will be better at posting on here (I’ve said that 10 times)

How legitimate is Scottie Barnes case to win DPOY? Turns out… very. Went through all the numbers + looked at the other candidates 👇🏼 www.raptorsrepublic.com/2026/01/27/m...

We were always planning to release this @justesbaraheni.bsky.social video today. Chose the topic a couple weeks ago when it appeared Trae's days in ATL might be numbered by the trade deadline. Then, Es and our crew did all the work. Then, we got lucky Anyway, enjoy www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmnA...

BANG. BANG. BANG. youtu.be/ID4Qx9t3Uc8?...

The Lakers score more efficiently in the pick-and-roll than any team in the NBA. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have made them impossible to guard. My latest video for @theathletic.com: youtu.be/ulceItTUmrU?...

This game has been awesome. Enjoy it folks. It's playoff hoops.

I was told LeBron James couldn't pass

The Raptors have more success with their transitional lineups than their starters. Why? It’s a matter of spacing. Recap + going in detail 👇🏼 youtu.be/poqU2HqFwuE?...

Scottie Barnes puts up another masterclass in the Raptors win over the Cavs. youtu.be/0hzMPI6jy44?...

Play. Jamison. Battle. Attacks the closeout... relocates... splashes a three.

If you had Ryan Rollins vs Ajay Mitchell for the Most Improved race this season — go buy a lottery ticket

Kind of a funny and ludicrous stat: Victor Wembanyama currently has more total blocks to start the season than 10 teams in the NBA.

“At some point, we have to ask ourselves what we’re willing to give up on defense?” - Brandon Ingram On the Raptors abysmal defensive start, the Green Knight, and delivering a promise: www.raptorsrepublic.com/2025/10/30/c...

The Raptors give up 139 points to the Rockets. Second time they've given up 139 in 5 games. Their defense is allowing 127.8 points per game. Atrocious defense.

The Rockets have 11 offensive rebounds, the Raptors have 13 TOTAL rebounds. The only reason they're in this game is because they're shooting 12/21 from three. Rockets put up 70 points at halftime. The Raptors have give up an average of 63 points at half to start the year.

Brandon Ingram is 7/7 from the field for 18 points -- just absolutely cooking on offense

This is what the Rockets do. 8 offensive rebounds leading to 10 second chance points. They bludgeon you on the glass. Makes it harder to run in transition also.

Collin Murray-Boyles will make his first career start tonight vs the massive Rockets. No Poeltl (back tightness) Starters: Immanuel Quickley RJ Barrett Brandon Ingram Scottie Barnes CMB

James Harden is absolutely frying the Warriors right now. 20 points at halftime, including this

Tyrese Maxey's 150 points through 4 games are the most to start a season by a Sixers player since Wilt Chamberlain in 1966.

5 observations from week 1 of the NBA season… Wrote about Paolo, Wemby, Giannis, Kyshawn George and the Blazers 👇🏼 www.sportscasting.com/news/5-takea...

Jakob Poeltl is DOUBTFUL for Wednesday’s Raptors game with lower back tightness. He missed a few pre-season games with lower back soreness + left Spurs game early for that reason and hasn’t looked himself.

Broke down Collin Murray-Boyles highlights at 3am last night because I am a sick, sick man. On an impressive rookie performance and why he’s important to everything 👇🏼 youtu.be/Rrgqmmj7mPE?...

Insane.

The Bulls are the fun, fast-paced, ludicrous team that I thought the Raptors could be.

Jakob Poeltl will not return to this game with lower back tightness. Makes sense. Didn't look right.

The Bulls have 8 guys in double-figures... the Hawks defense is hilarious + Bulls are so fun

Back to back defensive stops by CMB: 1) Pokes the ball out from Wemby 2) Forces Castle into a TO Raptors have cut the Spurs lead to 8.

Collin Murray-Boyles with 16 points in 17 minutes on 11 shots. He also has two steals and two threes. Fun stuff from the rookie in his second game of the year.

I think CMB has been the first Raptor tonight to go straight at Wemby's chest.

Dylan Harper is just flat-out effortless with how he gets paint touches. He's going to create so many good looks for the Spurs.

Absolutely LOVE this Wolves court + jersey combo
