Another modest proposal to deal with federal budget deficits and the National Debt: Adopt the Income Tax rates as they existed in 1980, adjusting the brackets for inflation from 1980 to 2026. ($1.00 from 1980 would buy $4.05 of goods today.) This would generate considerable additional tax income.
