Friday March 27 at 8PM ET, join @vheathmiller livestream on TikTok to watch his live narration of Chapter One of Endlords. We’ll be giving away three signed J.V.Jones hardbacks. #FantasyBooks #EpicFantasy @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social

Ever wonder why the new jvj website hasn't gone live yet? It’s because we've been working in the background for the past 2 months to arrange an event to help launch it. After Friday's livestream we'll have a professional soundfile file of Chapter 1. Endlords is not going anywhere! #Orbitbooksuk

Who doesn't love a good Epic Fantasy map? My brother Paul just made this for Endlords. #epicfantasy

Bodger & Grift from The Book of Words are back and working on constructing my new website.

My brother Paul used two images he found on amazon, front and back cover. The original Darrell Sweet painting for Master & Fool was a full wraparound, meaning the exact center of the cover was printed on the spine of the book. Paul had no image of the spine to work with.

The gorgeous artwork for A Man Betrayed by the late great Darrell K. Sweet. Sweet's most recognizable cover is probably Robert Jordan's Eye of The World, but he sure did the Book of Words proud with this one. #robertjordan #coverart #epicfantasy

We're too sexy and secure. After an arduous 17 day quest we have acquired the Padlock of Certainty! And produced our sexiest page yet. Everything being relative, of course. jvj.com/barbed2026.h... #orbitbooks #websitedesigner

My brother Paul and I are slowly building out the new jvj website. The 'About' section is now up. It's not live yet but you can take it for a beta test by accessing the private link on my website. jvj.com/about2025.html

What do you see in this image? An attack, a warning? Is the creature being isolated by force? Or is he an emperor accepting tribute from his subjects? There are no wrong answers. The artist, Douglas P Lobo, isn’t telling. Read the story here. www.patreon.com/posts/reward...

My brother Paul and I are putting the final touches to the revamped JVJ website. It's not live yet and only the external links are working, but it's up and running. Head over, take a look and let us know what you think. jvj.com/index2025.html

It's a good day to be an Everton fan. 3-0 against Nottingham. #5 in the League. #Everton #EvertonFC

I made a little book trailer for Endlords. #torbooks #orbitbooks

"Distance collapsed and what had stood two hundred feet away filled Watcher’s sights like a glance into the sun. Hot and twitching with current, ten times the size of a human heart: elk heart." A Sword Named Loss, SOS Book 6, has begun. @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooks.bsky.social #fantasybooks

Out walking at 5:30am, under the biggest full moon of the year. You bet the ideas started flowing. www.patreon.com/posts/mornin... #books

I don't think I'll ever write a better first chapter than Chapter 1 of Endlords. Read it for free at Grimdark Magazine. www.grimdarkmagazine.com/excerpt-chap... @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social @grimdarkmagazine.bsky.social

The Queen of Grimdark is back! #halloween #torbooks #orbitbooksuk

"The elk were silent. All male. By starlight they fed on dogwoods, stripping the cane-like branches with their teeth. None had bedded down for the night, or perhaps they had and some sense of imminent danger had prompted them to rise." @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social

I have been waiting for this book for more than a decade. I hope that the wait for it to be published is much shorter.

That's not my corgi. His picture came with the frame. #corgis

"Sword of Shadows is a dense, gritty, character-driven series set in a harsh and unforgiving tundra-like world. It’s about power: who has it, who will lose it, who will take it." @grimdarkmagazine.bsky.social #torbooks #orbitbooks

"I wrote something long and incredibly complex, working at the far edge of my ability as a writer for months on end." @grimdarkmagazine.bsky.social @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social

J.V. Jones is a legend of dark fantasy and grimdark fiction, and our team were fortunate enough grab an interview.

Great interview with JV Jones. Been a fan of hers since the Book of Words days, and really hope to be able to read Endlords soon.

"The question becomes: will a lie, a manipulation, a tactical submission, an escape, or violence get me through to the other side? You have five seconds. Make your choice." Read the first chapter of Endlords at: www.grimdarkmagazine.com/ @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social

“I once saw a post online placing bets on who would likely deliver their book first (George R.R. Martin, Patrick Rothfuss or yours truly). I had the longest odds.” Interview with @grimdarkmagazine.bsky.social www.grimdarkmagazine.com/interview-wi... @torbooks.bsky.social @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social

Nicholas Sparks, John Grisham, Stephen King, Ken Follet, John Krakauer, Hillary Clinton, Michale Ondaatje, David Guterson, Arundhati Roy, Wally Lamb, Nicholas Evans, Jacquelyn Mitchard and me? Apparently I kept good company back in the day. #torbooks #orbitbooksuk #BestSellers

Never work with children or animals. Taking photos last weekend for Endlords publicity, trying to lure Bobo into the shot. Bobo wasn't having any of it. #Endlords #torbooks #orbitbooks #JVJones

Still amazed that my AMA at r/fantasy got 73K visitors. It took me eight hours to answer all the questions. Should I do another when Endlords come out? www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/co... #Endlords #JVJones @torbooks @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social @LittleBrown

Proof I should never be allowed on TV. Thank you for everyone who helped boost Endlords' signal during Operation Deluge. @torbooks.bsky.social ks @orbitbooksuk.bsky.social #Endlords #JVJones #EvertonFc

My first post on bluesky. Endlords, Chapter 8, The Inn at Ploughed Hill. Listen as I narrate the first couple of paragraphs. The book isn't available yet, but hopefully will be soon. @torbooks @orbitbooks #JVJones #Endlords #SOS
