I'm very excited for silksong. I made myself a mobile setup for paper animation, and i drew this out on my porch during sunrise. i still got some kinks to workout with my set up, but the thought of drawing out by the lake or in the woods is very very exciting to me.

Walkies and talkies. One of the longer shots I did on Fixed I think. I have one more in this sequence with the exact same framing. Looks like they are walking on a treadmill haha

Fixed is out today! I'm not sure if this was my first shot on the film, but i think it was the first sequence i worked on! I had a great time figuring out Honey's walk. I really appreciate Genndy Tartakovsky for having me on the project, it was a blast!

cleanup and coloring in TVPaint was actually pretty darn efficient! i really like how easy it is to manage layer masks and all that, made shading super quick. lookin' forward to messing with it more 🎨

Decided to clean this piece up. wanted to get really whacky with the bg, so i did a lot of photo bashing and recoloring just to try something new.

I did a lil #1houranim over the weekend and finally got it tied down yesterday. it took me a couple of attempts to get roughs that i liked, and i've included the very first pass as well if you click through. roughs done in about 35 min, ties took 2 extra hours

Here's one of my shots from the latest #brawlstars short. got to do the first pass on paper, and it really helped me nail the timing and perspective.

animated clussy for #1houranim this was the tie down pass that took about 3 hours. theme was "hurry". All on paper. I wanted to work on my posing, and limited drawings!

I was honored when I found out there's a special moniker in our FX library called "Pat Fire". It's great for felling vampires or burning Lisa at the stake! The sharp eyed among you might even spot it in the latest season of Castlevania Nocturne on Netflix ;)

I ended up cleaning up this pilky anim. i found a way to keep all my paper lines rather than redraw it all and it LOOKS SO COOL. happy birthday again friend.

here's a collection of all the drawings from the stream today! £163 were raised over the 3 hour stream. thank you everyone for the donations and company

This was one of the first anims i cleaned up from paper to digital, and i think i like the process? it gave me things to think about at least!

I remember having fun figuring out how to #animate this guy from #Disenchanted This was a test shot to just try and learn the characters, so it's not the final shot in the film, but i would love the chance to animate him again. #2d #penciltest #prince #disney #enchanted

Here was my extended 1houranim for the theme "pause". this was the first time really trying camera moves and funny perspective on paper, and i had a really good time with this one.

This is the clean pass of that sub alert I posted a couple days back. This piece is where I felt like I started locking down how to convert paper to digital as seamlessly as possible with what I have. Ideally I would use a scanner rather than a phone and a chair, but it suits me for now!
