one of the first demos I tried this fest (a neat little shooter called ALTEREDBLOOD+) had an anti-AI splash screen in much the way old console games had epilepsy warnings and like... that's good to have! I don't want the world where this stuff is necessary.

Having my Whole Nintendo Switch 2 front Page filled with titles I worked on is so freaking cool.

I love how Miyamoto gave a press conference to accept his award from the Japanese government in front of the famous “originality” calligraphy display located within Nintendo headquarters. It made me think of the old Directs where Iwata also used to present in front of it.

As a video game enthusiast who also loves classic men’s formalwear, I can’t begin to tell you how happy it makes me to see Miyamoto rocking the exact same necktie for the past 30+ years.

It's really refreshing seeing shitey normal working class life depicted like this in a game, and a Silent Hill game no less. Pebble-dashed council flats, three-bar fires, Post Office counters, concrete shopping precincts. This must be how posh people felt playing Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
