Birthday with an artbook, Halo 5 is 11 years old! You can always rely on the Halo artbooks delivering the goods, as was the case with The Art of Halo 5: Guardians. Some previews here from artists @sparth.bsky.social, @robogabo.bsky.social, Paul Richards, Stephen Dyck & Jaemus Wurzbach.

late post to catch up on a few recently finished artworks.

I haven't done shading in my sketches for more than 25 years. Always felt like it could put the lines at risk of becoming unreadable. It is strange how we creatively change over time.

wow new art. honestly I have no idea how this one survived, with a power outage literally 10 minutes before I was done, which eradicated 5 crucial layers.

real paper doodles. different pens. I'm ashamed to admit that often the 5 bucks cheap one can compete with premium ink pens. To a certain degree, it's just not about the pen.

My friend Robogabo is on Bluesky. ❤️

saw a 'post a monster' type post, somewhere

I really need to post this one as a reminder to move my butt and do more in this style.
