新年快乐🎆🍾！ Happy Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year, is not Lunar New Year. Chinese New Year, is Chinese New Year, or specifically Spring Festival to be exact. Lunar New Year, is similar to saying “Holidays”. It’s inclusive to all Holidays surrounding Christmas. It would be like labeling Christmas

It’s self as “Holidays” and saying “Happy Holidays” when speaking about Christmas in specific. So if you want to actually be inclusive, say “Happy Chinese and Lunar New Year”. Don’t erase history in the name of inclusivity.

What’s the first major disaster of 2024? Earthquakes in Japan. 3 dead, buildings collapsed, and tens of thousands displaced from their homes. Not the way I wanted to start off the 2024 year. (No, I’m not in Japan, nor am I Japanese, it’s just crap how the years started).
