Oh my goodness -- I have been in error. I had thought "dancing about architecture" meant getting so excited you go outside and dance about in and around a building or buildings. Thus and hence "More Songs About Buildings [and Food]." Thank you for once again setting me straight.

_You Can See Everything_ has been seen. Full of nervous energy from hours of psychic tension. 😬

It’s very innovative. Smashes documentary filmmaking into Reality TV and probably other things. Suitable for extended analysis in many regards.

DEVO’s EZ Listening version of “Beautiful World” is sublime. The whole jug-band thing. 🥰

Gemini seems to be enjoying how my study of Extreme Metal set me up for immersion in modern Pop:

Released on this day 45 years ago, "Still" by #JoyDivision was the third album compiling unused studio material and some live recordings - including the entirety of the Birmingham University gig that was their final performance..

If you wanted someone to get to know you, what horror movie would you show them?

Funko unexpectedly salvaged my Poor Life Decision (of buying Funko Pop! dolls) with a single announcement:

The “Western” perspective on music and musicianship, (excluding Classical, Showtunes, and other relative antiquities.)

Going thru my CDs tonight, or what I can find of them, I’m finding more repeat purchases than I knew. 💿💿💿🤷

I could swear I bought several Controlled Bleeding CDs, but I am hitting the far reaches of where CDs might be yet… I only found one.

I’ve been reeling from an inversion of my primary musical aesthetics. It’s not that I no longer like what I’ve long liked, it’s just that I’ve fallen further outside the firm rejections that adhere to transgressive + avant-garde artistic culture.

Sometimes music-genres correlate with qualities in the music, sometimes they identify scenes or other social patterns. Often they adhere to a vague mixture of the two. I hate taxonomy but I am addicted to it. 😭

I sorta miss Cleveland and sorta don’t. My whole fixation-on-music thing has been going off the rails or something.

Elusive Power is the newest Brooddark album, his second on Cryo Chamber. (That label’s CD sale is still in effect… oh gawd have I become Simon Heath’s tool??)

Brooddark released an album on Winter Light in March that I didn’t discover until now. “Neurotransmission” stood out in my first listening but I like all of Deliro. “Death Valley” is another excellent track.
