This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I feel like the way that very vocal sections of the furry and kink subcultures demean people who choose to go out, make something with their hands and their heart, and then charge for their efforts accordingly is gross and dishonest.

Just because Person A prices higher than Person B's theoretical price point does not mean that Person A should sell at Person B's number. Potential production is not the same as actual production; a theoretical cost means nothing if Person B has not borne the risks, time, and effort to make it.

Seeing shit like this continue in this community is something we cannot fully avoid, but it grinds my gears so badly because the tear down comes from inside the communities and our spaces and that's not where it should be coming from.

One of the most important lessons I'm learning over the last few weeks isn't that I don't like being kinky, furry, etc. I just crave people who work hard and play hard. I keep growing up too fast and it causes these emotional gaps with folks. I feel like I'm alone because I can't be open.
