Fantasy Birds for funsies I feel joy in my life all of a sudden

Disappointed with how things are turning out with work, idk was just expecting more out of it and yet I barely do much as a freelancer. Adopts were at least challenging and fun 😔 in a horrible feeling of stagnation rn ngl

Not to be ungrateful tho my other freelance work is quite fun and I hope I get to put those up as soon as my client can share it

I should take classes again I want to learn new things I'm not moving forward!!!!

I feel like theres something i should be aiming for greater than finding more work and money but im too hungry and tired from work to think about that

In 2017 I dreamed of being an artist for games and Ive accomplished that, the projects ive done havent been anything big or prestigious but I always did my best with each project but I feel like theres still something out there for me. Or im just hungry.

AAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHH I MISS MAKING ART FOR MYSELF so im going back to an older idea and expanding on Cetacean-kins and the sort of lives they would live

never showed this cuz i didnt like how it came out but its building on the idea of this older character i thought of exploring the tragedy of what a vengeful member of a peaceful people would look like.

Starting new contract work soon, fairly excited but half heartedly will miss the quiet days despite being driven crazy by the idleness of it all. Tho I think I spent my unemployment quite well all things considered. Didn't grow a lot but I've got my creative confidence back which is my biggest win

The only thing im not confident about is my speed and stamina, My adhd still gets in the way most of the time and its mentally exhausting trying to finess my brain into focusing on tasks. I wish the start of drawing was more fun and exciting but the blank canvas dread gets too me a lot

I've been very satisfied with the art I've been doin for my contract stuff but I still wanna make time for personal art 🛌,,, why can't I have 2 cakes

challengin myself using only a 1 pixel brush to draw. Gotta get better at drawin i feel so exposed without all my painting lol

Oh yeah i never shared this design here but i made this for a friend as practice for making more anime style design which i dont really do a lot. I've worked in animation studios before but it was either super cartoony or very semi realistic so its very Kaouruart to try drawing everything

pretty sure this is a regular thing for animators and i have such respect for the volume of drawing they can do, something im trying to work towards

The background had to be redrawn twice cuz drawing the fish eyed perspective was way beyond my current skill level and then I remembered I was a general artist and did a simple block out in 3d and painted over. Early sketch if ur interested to see. I use mosaic pixels to establish overall colors

Got a little work coming In now!! But honestly I've been having way too much fun drawing anthros and adopts that I kinda don't actually wanna give that up so I'll still do that! It's not a stable position but I get to do what I love and that alone is a blessing enough.

This is very unrelated to art but if you or someone you know experience motion sickness in a first person game and it has no accessibility options to help I discovered that by combining the overlay feature on Pureref and a hand made vignette it could give some relief for motion sickness!

The game is Cat Mail co btw! I was playing this game with my partner who experiences bad motion sickness but unfortunately had no accesibility options for it so I took it upon myself to see if I could help. Funny enough this idea came from the game gambling with friends where you can sell an eyeball

Id love to do commissions one day but im just not really sure what type of service to offer, Skeb styled would be fun but Im not too confident with Illustrations. Tho I really like the idea of a casual design one like what If i drew your character in such and such. I think that would be very fun!

I once did a commission like years ago where the commissioner gave me like a blank character and told me i can dress them however but it would be fun if i could get like a design theme like oh this my character but i love clock work fantasy and id just work from there MAN that would be wonderful
